Do you think G is moving this guy too fast on the Israel Vasquez and Marquez card? Yanee Perez is nice fighter with experience and toughness. Now I believe Abner Mares is one of the best if not the best young prospect in boxing but his career and confidence could be really hurt if he gets beat this early in his career. Perhaps his eye injury is worse than we thought and G is trying to cash in or maybe Abner Mares is just that good. Thoughts?
perez is strong and can fight, but he's not a devastating puncher. its a good matchup, but unless mares has improved a lot since i last saw him i dont think he can beat perez.
I liked Mares when he was trained by Nacho. After nacho gave him the boot I don't see the same carreer for him anymore.
