So who you guys got? I think the Meathead/Kimbo will be a fun headhunters fight. Hard to call this one as both have stamina issues but neither seem to be the most intelligent fighter. Someone is going to sleep. Im thinking it will be Kimbo by KO1. Meathead just doesnt impress me. I think KOS will put on a clinic vs. Daley. Daley has a very difficult time on the ground and KOS will be able to get it there whenever he wants. KOS g&p 3. Machida/Shogun should be good. Both had a good feel for what the other has to offer and hopefully they each can take some pretty good chances and create some fireworks. I saw quite a few lead rights by Machida that barely missed Shogun as he was coming in with kicks. One of these may connect before the kick. However, Shogun may have a little more confidence in his kicks and apply a little more pressure with them to set somethin big up. Shogun may try to test Machida on the ground a little which he didn't even do last fight. I think Shogun will be the stronger fighter finish the job this time. Shogun UD
I think Kimbo can eek out a win in this one. Koscheck is going to maul Daley, Josh gets nowhere near enough respect. Machida will show everyone just why he is the champion with a TKO stoppage. Im still not convince that shogun is anywhere near his best.
"meathead" has a good chin and good stand up. I see Kimbo landing some good shots but getting countered and putting to sleep.
I have to disagree with "good". He looked good against terrible opposition. "not that Kimbo is much better though I know"
Kimbo has no chin, Meathead by KO. Koscheck destroys Daley. Machida comfortably outpoints Shogun this time.
Mitrione KO 1 - Mitrione can take a better shot. Both will land shots, Mitrione will still be standing, Kimbo won't be. Koschek sub 2 - If only Daley had some takedown defence!...on his feet he's got some of the best hands in MMA. Koscheck fancies himself as a striker too, but like he did against Johnson, he knows electing to trade with Daley isn't maximising his chances of winning the fight. He gets the fight to the ground with ease...Daley just makes it out of round 1, but gets choked in the 2nd. Machida UD - Machida makes the adjustments. He's got to be more aggresive, and push Rua back....he does that and takes a 4-1 decision, possibly a late stoppage if Rua's been worn down enough.
I like Meathead via TKO in the first. This should be a decent, yet ugly, stand up brawl. The problem is I just don't think Kimbo strikes as well as people think. Seriously, outside of the You Tube street KO's, who has he stopped. Abbott? Big deal. He couldn't even knock out James Thompson who has been staggered by a wind gust. Koscheck via some form of complete domination. Josh-Check blows through Daley and earns a shot at GSP, which will be a good scrap. Machida via TKO 3. I think we saw the worst of Machida and the best of Shogun in the first fight. That won't happen again and Machida's defense and accurate striking will be too much for Rua this time around. This might actually be a real entertaining card.
:: at everyone picking Machida. Shogun was fucking robbed, he schooled Machida. Rua by clear UD again. I'm rooting for Kimbo, but unfortunately Meatface probably wins. Oh and Koscheck by UD, Josh is pretty underrated. By the wat Trpl - you know GSP pretty much dominated Josh already right?
Machida wins a decision. I think the last fight was an off night for Machida and he'll have a much better performance this time. Meathead KO's Kimbo. Kimbo is terrible. He's got no power, his heart is questionable, and he doesn't seem to know you're allowed to use your legs to improve position when you're on the ground. Koscheck by GNP. Daley has good standup but is clueless on the ground. Josh will take him down at will, smother him and eventually pound him out. I would like to see Daley win though, just for the fact that we've already seen Koscheck get dominated by GSP, and at least Daley getting dominated by GSP would be something new. TFK
I hope Shogun wins again. If Machida doesn´t take this to the ground he gets his shit kicked in again.
Remember when Shogun was heavily touted as, alongside Fedor, the most talented young fighter in MMA a couple of years back? I wonder if he'll prove once again he's no joke. Hopefully the so-called "Machida-Era" is ended tonight, for a second time.
Nothing, I think he is a bum, I think Kimbo is more skilled, much better punching technique etc, I just think Meatface has a better chin basically. Oh and Kimbo is so clueless on the ground, he just turtles up.
