To be fair, Reids chin was so bad it made Hide look like an immovable object. The guy looked the part and had great athleticism (::), but damn, open the doors at the back of the arena and the resulting breeze would have him in a coma. He made Julius Francis and Orlin Norris look like Shavers and prime Tyson ::

Wright would be pleased to know he makes anyone's top-ten list. I watched his fight with Andrew Council on TV last night, actually. I will take nothing from him as both a world-class & perenially-underrated fighter for his generation, but he doesn't inspire me as an observer.

 

why would you want to do that?

 

When you have free-to-air TV in Australia, you become a Boxing-starved individual. Anything can look good ::

 

council was a pretty decent fighter at one point, but i recall that fight against wright being a snoozer. his bout with vasquez was one of the under rated wars of the 90s, however.

 

I guess this would be my top 10. No order, besides the first.
