Frazier vs. Barrerra... I was Frazier - there to show MAB what a left-hook is. And Sony programmed Frazier as a south-paw? WTF !!! Anyone else notice this? Did some fucking nerd get fired over this or what?
So, there I was, playing Fight Night, and I was so into it, man, that I totally wandered into the wrong forum, like. press R1L1 and he should change stance, btw. If that doesn't work, try R2L2. If that doesn't work, flick out the right jab move to your right and try and catch Barrera coming in with your straight left.
Probably some queer programmer trying to express himself through his work, making everything back-to-front.
No, they googled Frazier because they don't know shit and the first article said he was left handed and they never read any further than that.
THose games suck... the choices of fighters generally suck, the attributes of the fighters are usually wildly off base, the game play is absurdly unrealistic (haymakers? who thought of that?) I stopped buying them after FN Round 3 on PS2... just too annoying
I remember reading a review of that game & the editor was most appalled at the ratings. Claimed the game had Muhammad Ali hitting, "like Jack Dempsey on his best night." Not especially realistic, if true.
not only that but they had Gatti with this absurd, undentable chin (this is a guy who's very career was definied by the fact that always came back from ALWAYS GETTING HURT) and Marvin Hagler's was basically average also, Jake LaMotta, the very definition of an accumulation puncher, was this monstrous punching KO machine utterly ridiculous
Even worse in rd 4, they have Chavez rated as an 86 along with Hatton. Cotto along with Gamboa is an 87. They seem to portray all of the old time fighters in their respective primes, but they give us 1998 Chavez....
I actually like fightnight rd 4.Hardcore boxing fans hate on it ,but they have to realise that it is a video game and if you make it tooo realistic,it won't be very fun.
