Man that kick on Tavares was fucking nasty, he looked out cold. No idea how he got up almost instantaneously. Hes definitely one tough dude.
I love the way the Team Ortiz douchbags tried to make it seem that Tavares was faking. I cracked up. The dude got up acting like nothing happened but couldn't walk straight.
This season has been very 'blah' to me. I don't know if it's because I knew going in the Liddell and Tito weren't gonna fight, so I didn't make an emotional investment in it, or it's just that the fighters don't really have any personality, or what. But this has been the lamest season of the show to this point. TFK
I was almost embarrassed for Tito at one point, but not quite....he's an absolute dick. The Tito-Liddell grudge, to my eyes, feels a lot more genuine...i think they actually hate each other. I fully expect Rampage and Rashed to be cool with each other after saturday night...can't see chuck and tito ever getting along
Funniest part of the show.. Chuck genuinely owns Tito's ass. He has zero fear and/or respect for Tito. Tito, on the other hand, just acts inferior to Chuck. I love Chuck talking to the fighters at the house and he said when Tito's healthy he'll go to his house to fight him.
You know that the Tito Ortiz/Matt Serra style of yelling instructions step-by-step at an 11 volume for 300 seconds each round annoys the hell out of Liddell. ::
He is probably on Coke. Chuck was so different when he coached last time. He was much more relaxed. Still a good coach tho
Tito was trying to claim that shit when he was trying his hardest to avoid fighting Chuck. Chuck came out and said it was bullshit and that they we're barely even freinds, let alone good freinds.
I think you're wrong about that. I would have sworn it was Ortiz in a post fight interview (After Shamrock I think) in which he said the UFC would have to pay him alot of money to fight his best friend. My memory may be wrong but I think Tito then took time off, avoided Liddell and returned to lose to Couture. Someone help me out with the history.
Tito was the one that said that they were great friends, etc, Chuck said something to the effect like "WTF? Now that its time to fight, he doesnt want to because we are friends? I barely know the guy!"
true, but that wasnt the point. My point is that they were friends before. I responding to your post that they could never get along. Its obvious they hate each other now.
SHOCKING Episode of TUF, to Say the Least... Yager was Actually Doing GOOD Except for the Handful of Times he Got Clocked & @ the End of Round 2, where he COULDN'T Get Off the Ground...He DOMINATED the Fight when they were Standing w/Some of the Most ATHLETIC Kicks REED's Seen in MMA... But Yager Clearly LACKS Heart... The Fight was still WINNABLE, but he COMPLETELY GAVE UP on himself @ the End of Round 2, then was Non-Responsive on the Stool, Even as Tito BEGGED him to Come Out for Round 3... Yager was Pissing REED Off w/All the EXCESSIVE Glove Touching, but @ NO Point did REED Suspect Yager would QUIT, Until he Did... WOW!!!... REED:mj:
Probably...@ the End of Round 2, he just LAID There as if he LIKED Having that Dude on Top of him... Dude Brought the GIRL Out of Yager, for Sure... REED:hump:
For all the shit he talked, I wasn't expecting Kid Quick to bitch out like that. And from the previews of next week, it looks like he's still talking shit, which is amazing. TFK
Shit, from the Way the FIGHT Went, REED Didn't Expect It...Clearly, Yager's GROUND Game Sucks, but he was doing VERY Well when they Stood... REED was Actually Looking FORWARD to Round 3 & Thought Yager Could've Eeked it Out, but Apparently he DIDN'T Feel the Same Way...The Handful of PUNCHES he Ate Completely RIPPED his Heart Out... Now, he has NO JUSTIFICATION for Talking Shit...He was EXPOSED in Front of the Entire House...Best Thing he Could Do is HUMBLE Himself & Work on his Shortcomings (Ground Game, Headmovement, LACK of TRUE Belief in Himself)... REED:hammert:
Unbelievable, Yager was winning the fight, and after being roughed up on the ground a bit just quits?? Coupled with the fact that Josh hadn't wilted yet. Fucking hell. To be honest I'm surprised they gave the second round to Josh, I think Yager still won it. Maybe a draw, but before he got taken down he was clearly winning. The remaining 4 don't really seem like show winning material. It's weird, this season seemed good at first, but the fighters have been pretty disappointing. I fancy Tavares to win.
REED Sorta Thought that as Well, but Considering How Looooooooooooong Dude had Yager on the Ground (Coupled w/THE FACT that Yager Couldn't Do ANYTHING about it), it Seemed Somewhat Justified... Dude FINISHED the Fight Stronger & that Warranted a 3rd Round in REED's Opinion... Props to McCray for Being a TRUE FRIEND to Yager...Instead of Massaging his Ego & LYING to him, McCray Told him the Truth...His Teammates were MAD & Felt he COULD have Continued..."They Felt like U Shoulda Came Out for the Next Round & Got Knocked Out or Choked Out, Man."... Instead of Being a YES Man, McCray Told Yager the TRUTH... REED:hammert:
Yo Mex... REED's All for Sportsmanship, but was the Excessive Glove Touching a Bit WEAK To U???...N Hindsight, it Seemed that the Tougher the Fight Got, the MORE Yager Wanted to Glove Touch... REED has ALWAYS had a Problem w/Guys that Go OVERBOARD w/that Shit...Instead of WASTING 5 Seconds on a Friendly Gesture, U Should B Trying to HURT your Opponent... It Looks WEAK...Almost like a Plea for MERCY from the Guy Initiating It... REED:shit:
