I'm not going to lie.This is the number fight I want to see this year. <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/rCy9vqChmAk&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/rCy9vqChmAk&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
The Brock hype train is going to come crumbling down now that he is fighting someone who is not shot and can match his strength.
And if Lesnar wins, everyone who is on the Carwin Bandwagon right now is gonna jump off, claim they were never on it, and claim that Lesnar's win doesn't mean anything because Carwin is overhyped and hasn't fought anyone. Mark my words. TFK
If Lesnar comes back after a long layoff and KO's Carwin at his own game, I definitely won't be hating on the win. I'll still be hating on Lesnar though. I want to see him KO'd.
At least Joe keeps it realartie: I'm with BTG, I have been waiting for this one. I am hoping for a brutal KO, with an immediate rematch.artie:
WAR LESNAR!!!! I actually like both of these guys, I won't be too dissapointed no matter how it goes. For some reason I just like Lesanr, maybe it's all the hate he gets, I don't know. I have never been one to root for the "heel" but something about Lesnar makes me a fan.
I was a fan of him in the WWE and even up until the 2nd Mir fight was through. It's what he did afterward that pissed me off. The F you's to the fans and his shitting on the event sponsors made me want him to KTFO. Once that happens and he is humbled a bit, I'll cheer for him again.
Carwin can bang, but that's it. Lesnar is stronger and he can take a punch. Lesnar by 2nd round GnP stoppage.
Same could be said about Carwin. When you look for the best name on either guys resume, even at 40+ years old, I think Couture is the best win. As far as facing strikers go, neither of them have faced great strikers. Gonzaga, Mir, Couture are all about the same. They have decent strikes and some highlight reel KO's but their strengths lie elsewhere. But I have seen Carwin hurt by punches before. I can't say the same for Lesnar. Couture landed some shots and Brock didn't budge. This will be interesting. I have no idea how it will go.
REED DIGS Lesnar's Style... That's a BIG Reason Why REED Wishes he'd Take a GIMME Before Facing Carwin...Lesnar has STAR Quality, he Elicits EMOTION from the Fans, he DOESN'T Always Say the "Right" Things, yet he's Willing to BACK UP his Words....As Much of a Badass as Carwin is IN the Cage, he's as DRY as the Sahara Desert OUTSIDE of it... Lesnar's Taking THE HARDEST Road to Respectability, Coming from the WWE...& he's Being Mostly HATED On, Every Step of the Way...Lesnar's "F U" to the Fans was a RESPONSE to the Criticism he's Been Taking from Day 1... Lesnar's Post-Mir II Behavior was COMICAL to REED More than Anything Else... 1 Things for Sure; Lesnar CANNOT B Accused of Taking the "Easy Road" & the UFC CANNOT B Accused of "Babysitting" Him...@ 1st, REED ASSumed Lesnar was ALL HYPE (Just like Everybody Else Did), but Fight by Fight, Dude EARNS Respect... REED:hammert:
If Lesnar wins after coming back from a disease that could have killed him, I don't think anyone will stop him. He'll deserve all the credit in the world.
Yeah, and doesn't have a good chin. I'd give the defensive edge to Lesnar, actually, Lesnar slips punched fairly well although that may have more to do with agility than technique. Carwin has terrible defense.
He slips them better than Carwin. There was some post on sherdog recently showing the difference between their standup. Had some good gifs.
