    New for everyone:

It's highly unlikely that Trinidad and Margarito, in the last 10 years, are the only fighters to have loaded their gloves.

Based on what you saw of Trinidad and Margarito fighting with loaded gloves, are there any other fighters you think may have?

Obviously, there can be no proof. And it would be strictly speculation - so people here offended at the suggestion their favorite fighter may have used loaded gloves can save themselves some typing.

But like I said. We'd have to be stupid to think that Margarito and Trinidad, in the last 10 years, are the only fighters to have gotten away with it.

Who are some other likely culprits?

Beyond Hopkins camp posturing before the fight as an attempt to psyche out Trinidad, I see no evidence that Trinidad had loaded gloves. :dunno:

The few solid shots that Felix did land on Bernard definitely got his attention.

And Joe Gatti. It was pretty obvious when he refused to take his gloves off in the ring after the fight.

Yeah the Joppy fight wasn't fishy. Neither was the Vargas fight, and Vargas's condition following his bout with Tito.

4 the UMPTEENTH Time, Felix Trinidad's Gloves WERE NOT "Loaded"...An ILLEGAL Substance was NEVER EVER Found in Trinidad's Handwraps OR Gloves...He had a GAUZE Issue (Tooo Much, Not Enough or Whatever)...

    Completely DIFFERENT Scenarios...

Didn't Malinaggi once knock somebody out? Loaded gloves can be the only explanation.

    Dude, it's called "Boxing".

Now, every beatdown is going to be followed by a loaded gloves accusation?

I like Pavlik and don't believe it is likely that he has ever loaded his gloves, but he has gotten some devastating results in the past from punches that aren't all that fast. Similar to Tito and Margarito in that aspect, at least.

Yes. A Gatti being chopped up, floored, and sent to a hospital. Such a rare and unexpected occurrence must be the product of cheating. What next? A suicide in the family? Puh-Leeze.:boohoo:

Yes....the same way as every win for every fighter which is remotely surprising will now be put down to PED's or some such BS. Once you start the ball rolling, this is where you end up. With Gatti's losing fights thanks to loaded gloves....nothing to do with having ZERO D or anything, like.

Someone once said this to me as well. Quipped that the guy should've had his gloves checked, not his shoes, whenever he boarded a plane.

The left hook that Tito hurt Joppy with - his arm was stright - he just slung it into Joppy's face.

And for those who say that Tito's situation was totally different than Margarito's, you're full of shit.

It's possible. Often he'd hit guys with what looked to be a light tap and it would devastate his opponent.

His gloves had too much tape on them and it made them much harder. Cheater.

no it's not - Tito had gauze that had been dipped and dried such that it's properties were very nearly those of plaster. why the fuck do you think he bothered? watch his fights pre and post Hopkins. you'll see the difference.

he was hurting Reid with glancing blows (another guy ruined by the one of Tito's assaults), he scared the shit out of ODH, and treated Whitaker like a rag-doll.

Yeah where's the proof of this crap?

I asked for references on this a long time back and the only link anyone found was talk on how Titos hands were wrapped with multiple layers of tape and gauze. Apparently it was 'improper'.

None of this dipped and dried garbage. Tito's hands weren't wrapped correctly but he certainly shouldn't be put in the same basket as a guy who had plaster inserts in his wraps.
