it's not going to happen, people! Even if they "Agree" and "sign" it, the fight will never happen.

Just be done with the charades. Have Manny fight damaged goods Margo and Floyd fight damaged goods Cotto and fucking retire and be done with the bullshit.

I'm tired of both these pricks.

    What I don't get is:

If I was Manny and I was taking roids I'd just come off of them take the blood tests and do the damn fight. Even if you lost it's like 20 million dollars in your fucking pocket.

On the flipside if I was Floyd I'd be like fuck the drug test. Even if it meant getting beaten to a pulp and stopped while losing his precious 0 it's still like 20 million dollars in your fucking pocket.

Like I said, I just don't get it.

On that article there is a poll on WHO is holding up the fight:

    Mayweather 76% with 7k votes

Based on what I have been reading and seeing in the media, this round of negotiations has a bit of a different tone. I think both Floyd and Manny have sort of come back to the point where they are not sure it is worth continuing on if that means picking off serviceable, but clearly inferior opposition. I think that's why Floyd shat from his mouth again and started talking about retirement a few weeks back. And I think that's why Manny didn't immediately jump into negotiation with another Clottey type opponent.

I think this is going to get done. It is truly sad that Pac could not go clean for just one fight, and it is utterly nauseating that PBF has to constantly play games with the sport of boxing every damn time he wants to fight. But even though that is plainly the case, I am still very interested in seeing this bout.

If there were some sort of boxing god who watched over the loyal and genuine fans of the sport, he would see to it that this fight got made, and then through some strange, impossible twist of fate, both combatants would get paid nothing and find that some brilliant hacker criminal had somehow stolen all fight revenue, divided it up, and sent checks to those of us who put up with this shit for years and years and still love the sport.

    what the fuck??

Mayweather should not fight Pacquiao this year because it doesn't make financial sense(aka another Mayweather fan hoping Pacquiao losses or is such a tough/brutal fight that he won't be the same fighter once he faces Mayweather)

-If Pacquiao losses to Margarito it means he isn't the greatest fighter of this generation......so MAYWEATHER light will shine brighter..??!?!:lol:

-Pacquiao need to prove himself worthy of 50% purse...:shit:

Mayweather doesn't want to be in the $100,000,000 tax bracket. The fight in early 2011 makes sense for Floyd.

Thing is, it'd be a real PR mistake for Arum to get people's hopes up again by saying the fight will happen, only to have it fall apart again. And Arum has to know this. So you have to think he's confident when he says it.

Still, though, I honestly get the feeling Arum doesn't even want this fight to happen. And he's said as much when he talked about how much he hates working with PBF.

Mayweather doesn't want to lose, the longer he waits the more top opposition Pacquiao fights...the better the chances he gets defeated...and like Chi said on the video...if Pacquiao is defeated by Margarito or in a Cotto rematch..then Mayweather has no need to fight him...and MAYWEATHER light will shine bright...by default...

Never actually clicked on the first pages link and for those who probably followed suit it actually says all the negotiating including the drug tests are already done and all that remains is for Floyd to sign the contract if he wants to fight again this year.

If he doesn't sign by mid July it's going to be Pacquiao against either Cotto or Margarito.

What? Is PBF too busy betting on games to fight? What a fucking fraud. If Mayweather retires, he's a bitch.

How about no more Pacquiao-Mayweather threads until the fight is actually 100%signed and there is nothing left to negotiate?

No "99% done", "just a few details to iron out" etc.
