OK. Personally, I can't remember the last MMA card that had this kind of energy and great fights. Not all of the fighters were highly ranked, but the match ups were great.

With that in mind, lets get some opinions about the fights:

    1) The UFC awarded 'Fight of the Night' honors to both the Bonnar fight and the Leben fight. Which would you pick?

    2) Submission of the Night went to Brock with the gorilla triangle in the main event. Which would you pick?

    3) Who would you rather have backing you up in a bar fight, Leben or Bonnar? Had to ask that because it was talked about at my house last night when each of them took crazy punishment and kept coming forward.

    4) Obviously Lesnar gets Cain next. Who would you match Carwin with in his next fight?

Bonnar definately should get fight of the night. That shit was crazy. Bonnar isnt great, but fun to watch

To have brock win fight of the night is ridiculous. Lytle should have won it. Sick Sub

Leben to back me up no doubt. The man just doesnt stop coming. Rogen said it perfectly. He is a zombie.

Carwin should get the winnder of Nelson/JDS.

One of my favorite parts of the card last night was when Akiyama nailed Leben with a hook and had him crazy hurt. Leben didn't look to clinch or run. He literally took a step forward and threw weak arm punches. How can you not love that mentality? Or lack thereof.

Lytle shouldve gotten sub of the night, I'd take Leben too, unless I was in a bar fight with Anderson Silva.

REED Only Saw the Leben-Akiyama Fight & the Main Event, so he CAN'T Speak on the Other Bouts....

As for Carwin, there's NO Need to Send him Back to the Drawing Board...This Dude Came EXTREMELY CLOSE to DOMINATING Brock Lesnar, Truth B Told...Sure, Frank Mir has a WIN over Lesnar, but Carwin was OUTMANNING Lesnar...Mir Took an Ass Whipping then Lucked Up on a Submission, whereas Carwin was MANHANDLING Brock...BIG Difference...

Carwin's Still VERY MUCH in the Heavyweight Mix & w/1 or 2 Wins Over Highly Ranked Guys, we'll Get a Lesnar-Carwin RE...As Noted Previously, a Fight w/the Dos Santos/Burger King Nelson WINNER is a Natural...& The Winner of THAT will Then B the # 1 Contender for the Winner of Lesnar/Velasquez...

Since it's only between Bonnar and Leben you don't have much of a choice, it's not like Bonnar has better chances against Anderson...

Actually i think Carwin should get the LOSER of JDS and Nelson. The winner should get the winner of Brock and Cain

Well, if I'm in a bar fight with Silva I would just flop on back. He'll leave me alone then.

But the question was because Leben and Bonnar are both blood and gut guys that don't mind the circumstances, they just keep fighting. They are the perfect dudes to have your back in a bar.

    1) The UFC awarded 'Fight of the Night' honors to both the Bonnar fight and the Leben fight. Which would you pick? Without a doubt Leben. Leben put on a badass show against a megastar in the sport. Leben wasn't supposed to have a chance. You have to put that into the decision, the storyline was amazing for this fight and for it to go down like it did, just awesome.

    2) Submission of the Night went to Brock with the gorilla triangle in the main event. Which would you pick?Lytle sub was sick. He gets my pick.

    3) Who would you rather have backing you up in a bar fight, Leben or Bonnar? Had to ask that because it was talked about at my house last night when each of them took crazy punishment and kept coming forward.Well....I can honestly say from past experience, Chris Leben. You can say he is not one to shy away from any confrontation.

    4) Obviously Lesnar gets Cain next. Who would you match Carwin with in his next fight? I am with Godfather, the winner of JDS/Nelson should get the winner of Cain/Lesnar. I like Carwin, but as BTG has said many times, you lose, you have to build your way back to the top. Carwin gets the loser and maybe a fun fight against Cro Cop.:cheer:

Cro Cop doesn't want to die, so I doubt he'll take that fight.

I thought Leban vs Akiyama should have been fight of the night and sub of the night. Who the fuck though Leban was going to triangle Akiyama? I guess giving sub of the night to Brock isn't all that crazy considering probably nobody would have ever predicted that. I was pretty shocked.

I'd have to go with the Leben fight.

I would've given sub of the night to Ricardo Romero. Did you hear the way Petruzelli screamed when Romero locked in that sub?

Bonnar, because of this logic. The best way not to lose a bar fight is to not get in one. Bonnar doesn't seem the type to go out picking fights, where Leben does, especially if he has a few drinks in him.

The obvious choice is the loser of JDS\Nelson. Cain gets Lesnar next, the winner of the JDS\Nelson fight gets the shot after that. He just mauled Mir. Cro-Cop and Nog are most likely gonna fight each other, so that doesn't really leave anyone else other than the JDS\Nelson loser, unless you really want to knock him down the ladder and have him fight someone like Duffee\Russow\Barry\Kongo.

At my age, it is much more fun to not get into bar fights. Back in the day, I may have thought a little differently.

Hell, I still have the scar over my eye from getting hit with a bottle, and the scar on my head from getting blasted with a beer mug in the same brawl back in 94. Back then, sure, it was fun. But today? Not so much.

Just playing, I'm in that boat with you. I have a few scars myself. Now I'm 35 married with two kids and it just doesn't go down as well:lol: My gym will have a local show and we go to a bar for an after fight party. All the young bucks are full of testosterone, me I just hang out with the gym owner Rick and drink a beer at the bar.

Damn Jar and TFK. I'm too old to go around getting in bar fights also. The question asked IF you happened to be in one. Use your imagination.

No, been in fights but not in a bar. I try to avoid that shit by not going to bars, there is some kind of confrontation almost every damn time. Some idiot hitting on your chick right in front of you is the main one.
