Imagine if the Colts refused to face the Saints?

Or if Boston didn't like not having home court advantage and pulled out of the NBA finals?

I think as fans of either sport, we'd feel pretty fucking cheated.

Would you go as far as to no longer watch that team?

If so, then how can we justify watching Pacquiao face someone other than PBF? Or vice versa?

I say fuck em both. Fuck Arum. Fuck Mayweather and his despicable team. And fuck their families too. I'm tired of shelling out bucks for these greedy tycoons.

Arum can suck it. ODH and that fag Schaefer can both suck it, and PBF can suck it. Pacquiao will get his money either way, and if it were up to him he'd fight anyone, so I don't feel too angry at him.

Are you plagiarizing someone here? The first two lines of your post regarding the Colts and Boston sound very familiar.

I am all for boycotting the start of new threads and in-depth discussion/name-calling on the forums with regards to this fight... until it gets signed.

You're full of shit if you say you aren't going to watch it if it comes off... or you just aren't a boxing fan.

who the fuck said they wouldn't watch it if it gets made? all i said is, are we not justified in boycotting fights involving either Pacquiao or PBF that do not involve them facing each other?

that's fair - i didn't pay to watch Pac fight Clottey. But i do admit i paid to see Floyd-Mosley.

if there was a significant fight for either guy besides each other i would pay to watch it... but now that they ahve vanquished cotto and mosley there really is no one else

i guess i would pay to see one of them fight berto

Floyd is obsessed with not losing. Which is kinda sad since it will prevent us from seeing this fight. Those damn judges should have given the first Castillo fight to Castillo. If that happened he would have fought Pac long time ago.

Yup.....that's why he gave Castillo an immediate rematch after coming close to losing in the eyes of some.

That's why he fought an undefeated Corrales who most had as a pick'em with him.

That's why he fought an undefeated Ricky Hatton who destroyed Castillo..something Floyd himself didn't manage to do on two attempts.

Yup.....Floyd does everything in his power to avoid fighters that could possibly beat him...

Are you praising Hatton for beating that version of Castillo. God please say no.

Floyd was forced into the rematch...he didn't want the fight but was left with no choice. Was originally scheduled for earlier than it took place. Floyd behaved so poorly that instead of it being the main event he was pushed to the first bout and Wlad KO'd Shufford in the main event.

Yep, I know exactly what you're talking about. He may not realize it but someone did make a very similar quote to that one in response to the same situation.

Well, whatever recent example there was using the Colts and Saints wouldn't have exactly been the first of it's kind, either.

The rhetorical use of that kind of scenario in other sports when talking about boxing matches that don't happen - or at least don't happen at a particular time - isn't exactly new.

Speaking of that... where do you guys think Mayweather/Castillo II ranks among the best undercard match-ups over the last 10 years?

Not the fight itself, it was dull, but in terms of the match-up going in.

He was shot as shit. It was very clear at the time. He looked absolutely horrible in the fight and basically layer down. It's obvious that in this instance you are hyping Hattons win over Castillo in order to pump up Mayweathers win over Hatton.

Was Castillo "shot as shit" in the fight prior to facing Hatton or only shot as shit during that fight with Hatton?

Yes. Do tell me what made Castillo "that version of Castillo" as opposed to plain Castillo. What happened in his fight prior to that one which suggested that he was already shot..as opposed to simply gettig beaten up by Hatton?
