Where would Floyd be now? He could have a loss and be damaged goods, or could have won yet still be damaged goods. There are many variables, but what do you think would have been the outcome had Floyd fought Margarito with those cement wraps?
Floyd still wins. People forget that a man with half of the boxing skill of Floyd basically kept away and outpointed Margarito for 9 rounds. Floyd does fe same but does t break down and finishes a 120-108 decision.
Floyd would have won an easy UD! I have never to this day understood the overrating of Margarito. The handwraps would have given him more power but he has to land. No way would Floyd have pounded on him the way Mosley did. But Flod was/is too fast and skilled for that one dimensional clown.
Yea I never got the Margarito hype to be honest, I always thought a Mosley-type beatdown was on its way sooner or later, to be fair I didn't expect Shane to do it but I wasn't overly shocked.
