Who is JDS more likely to beat? I personally think he beats them both. Brock's stand up is garbage and I think JDS takes Brock out before Brock can take him down. Same with Cain.

I can't even begin to make a pick until I see JDS on the ground. Chances are, if he fights Brock or Cain he will end up there at some point.

Cigano and Cain are even. Lesnar destroys anybody on his path.

Destroys ? No way man Lesnar is limited. Did he destroy Carwin? No he outlasted Carwin that's hardly impressive. Lesnar is good at G&P and has a big heart but to be honest not much more to him.

He's still learning though, I heard he's trying to bring in Pat Barry to spar with to get ready for Cain. I think that's a pretty good choice and it shows he really is trying to improve.

Oh I know he's trying hard to improve and I respect him for it! Brock will G&P Cain into the ground. JDS vs Brock will be a great fight!

That's funny, because Brock was about a cunthair away from being bombed out in his last fight.

Personally I think Lesnar, Cain, JDS and Carwin all create unpredictable matchup with each other.

Of them all, I am beginning to like Velasquez the most. He has great wrestling and his stand up is very solid.

But I wouldn't be comfortable betting on any of them.

I don't care who JDS faces. The challenge will be the same. Keep it standing. I think that task is more difficult against Lesnar. But Cain presents the tougher challenge all around.

Nah with JDS, Cain wants to take it to the ground. Same with Carwin IMO. With Lesner he wants to keep it standing.

But he won. And lets take into the account his recent brush with Death and his long layoff. I dont see Carwin vs. Lesner 2 the same. I think Lesner handles him much easier.

No, I agree. Cain would want JDS on his back as well. But what I was trying to say is while it's standing Cain is a bigger problem for JDS than Lesnar.

Yeah it seems that way. But Brock has some power, he just needs to train that standup. I wonder if taking all of Cawrin's shots will give Brock more confidence to Trade. Who knows.

Before the Nog fight, not a single person was saying ANYTHING good about Cain's striking. I'm not sold guys, sorry. One good shot landed on Nog doesn't make a guy a good striker. He looked like shit striking against a decent striker in Kongo and was rocked basically any time Kongo touched him. Hell Kongo even took him down, and no he was not rocked at the time, but in fairness to Cain he was able to get up right away.

I do like Cain, but I think he's becoming a bit overrated lately, especially when it comes to his striking.

Brock never looked as bad striking as he did in the Carwin fight. In the Herring and Couture fights he didn't look bad at all and rocked them both with some nice shots. Against Carwin, you could absolutely tell he was afraid to really commit to his punches because of Carwin's power. Look at the few half ass right hands he throws. He's never thrown a punch as half asses as he did in that fight.

His stand up is still bad tho. I agree with you that its not as bad as people claim, but its still bad and he needs to train it.

Oh for sure, I'm in no way saying it's great. Just that it's probably a bit underrated now due to the Carwin fight. He should definitely be working his ass off to get better.
