I doubt many people watched this. It wasn't a bad card, as several former UFC/WEC fighters participated. And there were a couple of upsets. At least I thought they were: Light Heavyweight bout: Keith Jardine vs. Trevor Prangley Prangley defeated Jardine via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28). Light Heavyweight bout: Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou vs. Houston Alexander Alexander defeated Sokoudjou via TKO (punches) at 1:31 of round 2. Catch-weight (171.75) bout: Paul Daley vs. Jorge Masvidal Daley defeated Masvidal via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28). Middleweight bout: Joey Villaseñor vs. Danillo Villefort Villefort defeated Villaseñor via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27). Welterweight bout: Brock Larson vs. Tarec Saffiedine Saffiedine defeated Larson via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27). Middleweight bout: Paul Bradley vs. Johnny Rees Bradley defeated Rees via submission (rear naked choke) at 4:28 of round 1. Amazing that the same Houston Alexander that got booted from the the UFC for being afraid to engage Kimbo went right after Sokoudjou and got into several exchanges. He was dropped, hurt and almost finished in the first round but came on strong at the end of the first. In the second round it looked like the Alexander that beat Jardine. He exploded with a solid knee and uppercut that dropped Sokoudjou. From there Houston got on top and pounded him out. Like usual, Sokoudjou was exhausted after 3 minutes. And really bad news for keith Jardine. An undersized Trevor Prangley out-muscled him for 3 rounds and basically threw him around the cage. It's 7 loses in his last 9 fights and 5 loses in a row for Jardine. The dream of returning to the UFC is done. He needs to think about moving on. Paul Daley was fighting for the second time since being booted from the UFC for punching Koscheck after the final bell. He completely dominated a guy named Jorge Masvidal who is a Miami native with an internet street fighting reputation similar to Kimbo. Daley easily won the fight but couldn't hit the 170 pound weight limit and ended up giving 10% of his purse to Masvidal for the failure.
i remember watching Masvidal's street fight against a guy called Ray. It was posted on this site a few years ago. A couple of surprising results on that card.
Stoppage of Houston Sokoju was very late...I'm very against early stoppages but that shit was really bad..
