Bute is a bad man with too much variety for almost anybody out there right now.

Who overrates Corrales? I dont remember anybody calling him an all time great. Everybody rates him correctly. A very good fighter who was exciting to watch because he got hit alot, and could be hurt, but had murderous power in both hands.

 

Many people do rate him higher than he ever was.

Theres people that overrate EVERY fighter. Corrales however is nowhere near being as overrated as say Juan Diaz was, prior to Campbell exposing him.

Supposedly Bute's people are now looking to fight Pavlik in March. If Kelly and his people go through with that matchup, I guess its a cash out move. Bute will beat Pavlik like a 10 cent whore. Something tells me however that it wont happen. At least not as early as March.

Bute will beat Pavlik as long as he sticks to a regimented fight plan that involves movement and angles. It has to be a cashout as Bute is the naturally bigger guy and the naturally better fighter, but Kelly has a slim punchers chance.

 

Bute would have to have a mental lapse in order for Pavlik to catch him.

I think Bute is the best at 168, and I think he would beat Billy Goat Ward.

 

If Andre fought Bute he would end up where most Ward's belong. In a hospital.

But as of here and now Ward has 6 points from 2 fights in the Scupper 6 and it is hard to argue with those kind of stats, baby.

Bute can beat all the Bikas and Brinkleys and Andrades in this world but 6 points from 2 fights is hella impressive.

 

I wanna see Bute put an ass whuppin on the caveman farmer... but AA is gonna save him the trouble.

I'll be pretty appauled if he fights the AA-Froch winner in Oakland. And theres NO WAY that the Froch-AA winner should agree to Oakland.

I fuckin hate Ward. I'll be hoping for AA to knock him into a coma. Or if Froch wins, I cant stand either one so I dunno who to root for.

Don't get me wrong...and this is contradictory....but I think Bika deserves a payday..he is one of the very few fighters out there who will genuinely fight anybody, in his filthy fashion.

It's just I don't think Ward should be getting what should be a handy enough fight, considering his recent non-exploits.

Bika should be getting a decent payday....just Ward should be fighting someone else.

You just know at the first sign of trouble, the ref is going to DQ Bika.

 

Showtime was comparing Ward to RJ and Ray Leonard against Allen Green(despite the fact that Roy and Ray woulda obliterated a bum like Green in thier primes). So obviously they want Ward to be the networks Golden Boy, and are therefore stacking all the cards in his favor to win this tourney.

AA and Froch are gonna have to knock him cold just to get a draw. But realistically, Ward is just too skilled for both of them, even on neutral turf.

The Leonard/Jones comparisons are a fuckin joke though. Those guys were not only far better then Ward, but had electricfying styles. Ward bores us to death like the current Hopkins does, only at least B-Hop has the excuse of being 250 years old. Ward is 26 and boring us to death.

 

Bute really pulls that left hand from very far back and he often squares up, when he throws it. If Pavlik times that through the midddle with his right bomb he can turn Bute´s lights out. The step up in class will come for Bute, not Pavlik. I don´t think Bute is harder to hit than Hopkins, Taylor or Martinez. Very interesting fight, if Pavlik still has the desire to fight seriously.

 

Bute will destroy Pavlik. You must be joking.
