    Cain is as good as he looks. If Brock won this fight, he would have the record for most title defenses at heavyweight. So i mean many have lost before him. But brock just needs to work on his standup. Lets not forget the man is an infant in this sport.

    once he stuffed lesnars rush, you knew it was over. trading with couture and carwin he looked like shit. no way he was gonna win the striking...it was a matter of him taking cain down.

    Cain was just better than Brock.It took a fighter like Cain to reveal what Brock really was...an overrated fighter.That was pure domination by Cain

    What makes him overrated? You have been calling him overrated since he began fighting and now he loses and you think you are some kind of athority? Ask everyone Brock has fought if he is Overrated. Dont make You look ridiculous saying this. If Brock won you would still call him overrated.

    Yeah I don't think Brock is overrated. He just lost to a better fighter.

    It's not like he's been called an MMA God or anything, and then went and got nearly kimura'd by a bloated kickboxer or anything.

    Why you all emotional for? It is what it is.You know damn well this dude was being hyped as the best thing since sliced bread.Brock has serious flaws and a good fighter was going to take advantage of it eventually

    It a mix of the two. Brock really is an extremely limited fighter who panics more than Wlad when he gets hit. Cain is pretty good and well rounded, well see where he goes from here.

    Not to take anything from Cain because he fought a great fight. However, Brock looks like a little schoolgirl whenever he gets hit. His striking is horrendous. I bet this starts a looong downhill slide for Brock once opponents realize that his mass means shit.

    Cain did look good. Pretty good mixture of striking and wrestling.

    Again, if Brock has won this fight, he would have had the most title defenses in UFC heavyweight history. So yeah he could have made that claim. But nobody claimed he didnt have flaws and nobody claimed he couldnt be beat. Dana himself knows this and has said this many times.

    His hands looked better in this fight than the carwin fight. He was throwing punches and wasnt backup scared because of them. He got caught tho and went down.

    I was impressed with Cain, but Id probably lean to Lesnar being as bad as he looked.

    Everyone knew he had flaws, but being such a freak of an athlete he was abelt to overcome these.

    He came up against a technically proficient fighter standing and on the ground in Cain and those flaws were exposed.

    No matter how many times these two fought, if Brock couldnt get him out of there in the first 2-3 mins he stands next to no chance.

    Well cain's chin isnt perfect either. If Lesner can work on his ground game, he can really be a bigger threat. He needs to focus 70% of his training to standup. Similar to what koshcheck and evans did. Brock is tough tho. He understands he needs this help. He understands more than all of us.

    Because they didnt respect him. You read what these people were saying. Cain fought nobody. He fought a bunch of heavybags. He has no striking. Lesner will role over him EASY. Some people arent paying attention out there.

    velazsquez looks like he could've been a boxer. he's a great wrestler, but is also a fluid boxer who throws swift combinations for his size. imagine if he took up boxing as a kid instead of wrestling, he'd be an inshape chris arreola who could actually beat good fighers. :lol:

    Lesnar, in his last 2 fights, has been very very unimpressive. He reacts very poorly to being hit and his gas tank seems suspect at all ( seemed also an issue in the Couture fight ). Kind of incredible that most people considered him the number 1 hw. I doubt he ever regain the chamnpionship, or even remain a top contender for long.

    Yes Brock has been grossly overrated but he was a fun champion. Now we have boring Cain as champion. The guy has a personality of a house plant.
