interesting matchup... Dick Tiger as a middleweight, where he was GREAT, won because he was impossibly strong and anyone who traded with him wound up looking like they had been hit by a bus... he was a heavy handed guy, his punches HURT without him being a real knockout hitter... that was his game... cut off the ring, and when the opponent started an exchange, Tiger would invariably finish it until the other fellow looked bloody and exhausted... for that reason, it was expected he would lose against Jose Torres, a very solid and naturally bigger man, when he moved up to face him But Tiger did a 180 and, perhaps taking a page form Emile Griffith who had uncharacteristically danced away with his Middleweight crown, he moved in and out, jabbed, countered and stayed out of too many exchanges and VOILA! he walked off with Torres' title the question is could he do that against Qawi? Obviously, trudging forward and exchanging with Qawi would be a dumb move on Tiger's part and would lead to at the very least a protracted beating... but can Tiger box and move against Qawi and win? I think he could at times, but to me Qawi is a superior Lt Heavy to Torres and a much better attacking fighter... I see Tiger boxing strongly at times and frustrating Qawi to win some rounds, but I like DMQ to force enough of a firefight to shade more rounds with his heavier hitting and strength to win a unanimous decision, 8-4 or 7-5... competetive, but clear
