Personally I still think making fun of illegal hand wraps is far more offensive. Margarito should have gone to jail for that. And to now joke openly about a crime that could have permanently injured or killed an opponent, is tasteless.

Mexicans have a ton of great fighters to support and be proud of, but Margarito ain't one of them regardless of what he might accomplish in the ring.

Sure he talks shit but it's pretty "standard" innocuous stuff, and it's generally boxing related. Like you say, that's just part of boxing.

Years and years ago I read an interview from Boxing Monthly in which Diego Corralles said that Roberto Garcia and his people were "very very rude". I didn't pay it any heed at the time. Taking what Corrales said into account, and coupling it with our experiences of Vargas, their associated buffoon, it makes sense to me that these people should be working with Margarito, who is a registered cheat and a scumbag of the highest order.

I can only hope that they get what is coming to them.

 

I would love to see Pac ko Margarito with a body shot. That would be great! Or even making him quit on the stool!

 

I hope the fight ends by unintentional headbutt in the first round.

Seems pretty silly to hate on Freddie Roach just because he doesn't shut the fuck up and hide himself from the world because of his disease.

Anytime I've seen him talk smack it has been in response to somebody else starting it.

I have no sympathy for Margarito or his camp however, and I never realized Robert Garcia was such a scumbag.
