Precisely. I haven't seen somebody so at odds with his profession this side of Tom Hanks in Road to perdition.

Yeh it simply comes down to Harrison just not having the eye of the tiger.

He doesn't even have the eye of the house cat. He's got the eye of a dying koala bear.

Do you honestly think we'll see Haye in the ring with the klits? I don't

    What!????

Even if he DID bet on himself. What the fuck would be the problem???

    Who cares?

If a fighter is able to KO another in exactly the round they want to...bookies have no say in that. Fuck'em.

    Tell that to Pete Rose.

If you allow a fighter to bet on himself, then what's to stop him from betting against himself and taking a dive?

If I remember well, Hopkins bet on himself to win on the Trinidad fight. Nobody said anything.

I remember that, Lampley said he bet $100K on himself

Good memory... I remember that as well. Not sure how this could be allowed, but I guess being that it's boxing and it's shady anyhow, anything goes.

I would think that any mainstream sport like baseball (as we've already seen), football, basketball, etc. coupled with better on yourself would be all over ESPN.

    A dive is different.
