Yeah, yeah, I know it won't happen. Let's just pretend ... I keep trying to explain to people that if this fight happens, PBF will be much stronger & bigger than Pac, & will be walking him down. If Manny tries to overwhelm PBF, Floyd will curl up, bend over smother & counter. Manny needs to out-box Floyd. That's right out-box him. PBF will try to get off first with off-beat right leads, but Manny has to stay on his toes & get in & out of range. For me Pac's best bet is to use a similar game plan to RJJ's against Toney. He has to dart in & out, throw crazy 3-4 punch combos from all angles. PBF will curl up like a turtle. looking to counter, but Pac will be in & out too quickly.
How? With a 10% take of the profits, a blindfold, & one arm tied behind his back. Mayweather doesn't have the courage for any other kind of confrontation at this point, unless it's in the press. Once, early in his career --- yes. Not now.
Manny has to attack Floyd from the opening round. Floyd starts slow, and gets tagged easier in the first rounds. Watch the Judah and Mosley fights. Even the Corley fight. He can't let Floyd relax in there, Floyd tends to pick his opponents apart after studying them in the first rounds.
Use every bit of his reach advantage, hit him with those straight rights Edit: I thought this was about how PBF should fight Pac, now I have to say for Pac to fight negative because that would force Floyd to lead
Floyd told you what to write? Why would you even take advice on what to write from a person who is barely semi-literate?
In the first round Pac needs to come on his usual self.....land that right hook/straight left combination....and Mayweather will go to sleep...Floyd WILL GET KNOCK OUT!!! sly and rjjrp4p#1 will be in here saying Mayweather was past his prime....or waited to long in between fights....
Manny is a great counterpuncher and I wager Floyd would be loathe to walk him down. In fact, Floyd would do nothing but go backwards and hope to counter Pac in a stinkfest. Pac would be the one walking him down and opening up.
And above his best weight. He's lost speed and power while moving up. I'll go to sleep fellas, good night.
:atu::laughing::: Manny hits Cotto with everything including the kitchen sink for almost a full 12 rounds and he knocks Floyd out? Stop posting on this forum...go to TAAA. Mayweather will be the aggressor in a manny pacquiao fight. Manny will be the boxer.
Floyd keeps him off balance with lead right hands and the jab. Uses his feet and ring gen to win an easy decision.
I think Pacquiao's volume would go down if/when he were countered consistently by PBF. Pacquiao relies on his ability to figure out his opponent's timing and rhythm (I think PBF does also - all fighters to some extent but in Pacquiao's case once he's done so he has little trouble dismantling his opponent). I think we really don't know what the fuck happens. What we've got is two fighters, both of whom can dominate fights if they can manage to figure their opponent out. Question is, who is the taller order for the other? Both guys present challenges neither guy has yet overcome, although clearly Pacquiao's proven himself more.
a fresher Mosley hit Cotto with every punch for 12 rounds...he never hurt him like he hurt Mayweather in their fight...:crafty:
Actually that's a good point, I kind of forgot that. Cotto took a lot of flush shots from Mosley and was never really hurt. Pacman fucked Cotto up with single shots.
Agreed. If they were to both punch a power measurement machine I would have no doubt that Mosley's punches would carry more weight. Pac's punches are faster and incredibly unpredictable and that's why he scores more knockdowns and more facial damage.
And what did Mayweather do immediately after being hurt so badly? Did he fold up and give up. Did he run like a pussy? I seem to recall that he fired back and had Mosley on the retreat...IN THE VERY SAME ROUND! Pacman's not stopping Mayweather. You're nuts.
I disagree. Mosley's punches have slightly more weight on them, but the sheer speed, explosiveness and crispness of Pacquiao's shots results in an overall greater force of impact.
