Who's on your top 5 all-time P4P list? Off the top of my head my list would resemble something like this: 1. SRR 2. Hank 3. Greb 4. Langford 5. Fitzsimmons
I was gonna ask the same thing....He might just be considering SKILL and not accomplishment and victories over other Hall of famers.....if so..yes ROy JOnes is top 5-10 all time...
and of course Pacquiao at #3 just incase Mayweather beats him...he will replace Pac......though Mayweahter doesn't belong in the TOP 20 at this moment all time...if he beat Pac..then YES..but not in the top 5..NEVER.
WOW !!! If he means Roy Jones Junior then he is out of his fucking mind :laughing::laughing::laughing:
Ramonza is having some problems loading the page right now so he e-mailed me his top 5. 1. Black Boots Smith 2. Hard Workin' Harold Hoss 3. Rusty McGarnackle 4. Brown Boots Smith 5. 'Gangrenous' Jimmy O'Reilly
Roy Jones who won titles from 160 to heavyweight. AT his best the most talented fighter ever. Yes Sir.
Really ? I thought it would be 1.Civil War Jimmy 2.Jack The Shoe Shiner 3.Punching Dickie 4.Faster than a speeding unicycle Joe 5.Thomas the slave owner Robison
Then shouldn't you put Pacquiao higher than him based on winning titles in different divisions? Don't you think Pacquiao has been as impressive if not more? What about Thomas Hearns The first man ever to win four world titles in four weight classes (1987-10-29): from 147 to 154 to 175 to 160 to be the first ever Quadruple Champion in boxing. The first man ever to win five world titles in five different boxing divisions: (1988-11-04): from 147 to 154 to 175 to 160 to 168. The first ever Quintuple Champion in boxing. The first man to win a world title at welterweight (147) and then later win a world title at super middleweight (1988-11-04). The first man to win a world title at welterweight (147) and then later win a world title at light-heavyweight (1987-03-07). The first man to win a world title at super welterweight (154) and then later win a world title at super middleweight (1988-11-04). The first man to win a world title at super welterweight (154) and then later win a world title at light-heavyweight (1987-03-07). The first man to win a world title at middleweight (160) and then later win a world title at super middleweight (1988-11-04). The first man to win a world title at super middleweight (168) and then later win a world title at light heavyweight title (1991-06-03). The first man to win a world title at light heavyweight (175) and then later win a world title at middleweight (1987-10-29). The first man to win a world title at light heavyweight (175), win a world title at middleweight and later win another light heavyweight title (1991-06-03). The 18th WBC world super welterweight (154) champion. The 11th The Ring super welterweight (154) champion. The 19th WBC world middleweight (160) champion. The 14th WBC world light heavyweight (175) champion. The 36th WBA world light heavyweight (175) champion. The 8th WBU world cruiserweight (190) champion. The 7th IBO world cruiserweight champion.
Unranked... Harry Greb, Henry Armstrong, Ezzard Charles, Ray Robinson, Sam Langford. There are many names deserving of recognition in the absolute highest echelon of the sport's annals --- & Manny Pacquiao deserves his place among them. The best of the best, greatest of the great.
Prime Hearns was stopped by Leonard then KTFO by Hagler...basically lost by KO his two biggest fights. That disqualifies him from being ranked too high..else you'd have a GREAT POINT.
I guess this warrants a disclaimer that my list is based more off of data/collection gathered than what I've been able to see with my own eyes, given the lack of available footage beyond the modern era... 1. SRR 2. Henry Armstrong 3. Muhammad Ali 4. Harry Greb 5. Ezzard Charles * * struggled with #5. So many that can be entered in his place, all with plausible arguments (Joe Louis chief among them).
Still, your argument loses steam the moment anyone brings up the fact (not opinion but fact) that Leonard ranks higher than Hearns any way you slice it.
Maybe, but Hearns beat Duran more impressively and Leonard simply beat a shot Hagler. Hearns beat the crap out of Leonard in the rematch and got robbed. He also won titles in a division Leonard never fought in and beat a legitimate Light Heavyweight champion. I got them even. Cupey
I have never seen SRR so I am not putting him on my list. 1. Muhammed Ali 2. Roberto Duran 3. Bernard Hopkins 4. Manny Pacquiao 5. James Toney
This is the worst fucking list I've ever seen. Find the nearest bridge and jump off, you don't know shit. Cupey
With like half the board ranking Pacquiao as the GOAT shouldn't he be on a few more of these top 5 lists ??
