http://www.mmabloodbath.com/2010/11/edson-barboza-vs-mike-lullo-fight-video.html Barboza executes Lullo.
Barboza trains here locally and I've seen him at his gym before. His leg kicks make Aldo's look mild. I would love to see how much damage Lullo suffered to his leg. That looked painful. That being said, Lullo does some decent work from his guard. That flexibility was amazing. I wonder how many gogoplata's Lullo's finished in his career? Barboza is an undefeated guy and it will be fun to watch him progress. A 5'11" LW with lethal leg kicks will easily make some noise in the division.
Only if U BET ON or was ROOTING FOR Williams...That's like Saying Shogun-Machida II was "Disappointing".... REED:shit:
I am a fan of memorable knockouts. Williams hitting the canvas face first was memorable. Rua knocking out Machida happened early and was a bit shocking but it wasn't as cool as watching an extremely tall fighter separated from his senses and free falling face first into the canvas. THAT was a great knockout. In MMA I would compare it to Fedor's shot that starched Arlovski.
martinez-williams was great while it lasted an had an emphatic ending. UFC main event was neither of those.
2-1 jackson won, i believe machida won round 3 more convincingly than jackson won the first 2 rounds, but jackson won the first 2 rounds
i hate when fights last about 5 seconds. MMA violent ends are pretty commonplace but definately not boxing. i couldnt care if williams or martinez faught, i was just looking for a 12 round war
By the way, did anyone see video of the Tyson Griffin-Nick Lentz fight on the undercard? Griffin lost a split decision and apparently most thought Griffin won. That's 3 loses in a row for Tyson Griffin and 4th in his last 6 fights.
The love affair with Dan Miller is even more dubious, and quite sickening, because he instantly ruins any card he's on with his terrible kickboxing, and do-what-it-takes to survive mentality, coupled with slightly above average BJJ and godawful wrestling.. This guy got into a 1-2 combo fest with Demian Maia and lost.
Maybe the UFC got a 2 for 1 deal with Jim and Dan Miller and they don't want to drop Dan because his brother might leave too. I really thought Dan was gone after the absolutely risk-free effort against Maia and Bisping.
I thought so too, and what is even funnier is the UFC trying to sell to us Bisping's win over Miller actually meant something. If Bisping was from Oklahoma, he would have been cut too.
