Well, yeah, obviously there's a difference between fighting a 125 or 129 pound Pacquiao and a 146 pound Mayweather.

Everytime pac and Marquez faced each other, Marquez came out on top in the Combination contest.

Exactly. JMM found out early he can't afford to trade with PBF the way he can light-weights. JMM is a small light-weight. PBF picked him because he knew he'd be zero threat.

JMM landed some great shots on PBF. He's just too small. PBF knew this.

I just take comfort in knowing that one day, whether PBF is broke or not, he will find himself with an emptiness that can only be filled by the adoration of a crowd. People will have stopped talking about him. He will no longer be relevant. It will be at this point that PBF will have no choice but to compete (he hasn't competed in years), and it will be at this point (if not before) that he gets knocked out the brutal and violent fashion that we all crave. This will happen.

    In the WWE?

Honestly, though, I'm like most...until Mayweather fights Pacquiao he's not even worth discussing, let alone thinking about, except perhaps in myth matches.

No offense, but you suck Pacquiao's cock like a scurvy-ridden sailor going to town on an orange. I'd trust his mother to give a more objective analysis of the guy.

The difference is size was incredible. First Mayweather didn't even try to make weight, so he was at full power. Secondly, Marquez knew that any quick combination could knock him out. He recognized the size difference and simply opted for safety. Marquez is barely a lightweight, but a solid one at the moment. No more than that.

Suck his cock? What a ridiculous thing to say. I don't even know the guy, and I'm not a homosexual.

But really, saying Pacman is better to watch than Marquez is sucking his cock? What? Anyone who thinks Marquez is better to watch is in the minority, even though he IS very watchable now.

Pacquiao is insane to watch, especially slapping the shit out of welterweights.

I know you would like to think so Fin, seeing as you've seen my pic and you're clearly turned on by my charm and good looks, but I'm afraid I have too much of a fetish for large, natural breasts to even contemplate homosexuality.

How is Pacquiao fun to watch? Pacquiao fights guys who are slow ass shit of basically half dead. JMM is fighting pressure fighters and guys with non-stop energy.

Beautiful counterpuncher with great speed. However, when he met the master JMM he lost IMO. Two great battles and after some fantastic wins for some people to say JMM isn't worthy of a rematch is fucking retarded.

You think Katsidis is a better win than Cotto, Margarito or Clottey?

Thanks Cupey, but I am pretty sure I mentioned the weight difference.

Meanwhile we all just watched an incredible combination puncher in Manny Pacquiao step up and fight a BIG welterweight in Margarito. And did Manny go into a shell when he was tagged by the bigger, stronger Antonio? No, he continued to throw 5,6,7 punch combinations.

It wasn't size that limited JMM's output against Mayweather. It was hand speed.

It wasn't just the hand speed. Speed is no problem for Marquez, it was the power behind his punches.

The point being that if the rematch happens at a lower weight, which it won't, Marquez gets a SD win. At welterweight, I think Marquez survives but he loses everything that makes him so effective when he puts on the pounds. So I'd love to see the rematch, but it something that should happen at Welter.

We all know Clottey is the master of self-destruct. Cotto was smashed by Margacheato who was in turned smashed by Mosley. Will you admit that none of these guys that Pacquiao beat were very sharp or at their best?

JMM stopped two guys that had never been stopped. Joel Cassamayor is a much better fighter than Cotto and Cheato ever were. Clottey is no better than Diaz or Katsidis.

So in there last three fights both have faced good opposition. The difference is the weight.

cupey's too cheap to have hbo subscription or purchase ppvs. that and he's too lazy to find streams on the internet. obviously, he hasn't seen any of the fights mentioned in this thread.

the version of casamayor that marquez beat is better than cotto? hahaha

Joony he was no worse. Clottey is shit and I swear Cotto almost got KTFO. Cotto lost his self confidence and after the beating he took he wasn't the same. Casamayor was right for the picking. He looked like shit against Santa Cruz, but he did rally back to pull the KO against Katsidis and is still a difficult guy to beat.

The Casamayor that Marquez fought was WAAAYYY past his prime..and needed a gift decision vs. Santa Cruz...

Cotto hasn't been the same fighter since Margarito.....less sure about himself...less confident....whatever. BUT AT LEAST HE DIDN'T retire to Puerto Rico...like you know who after one defeat...just to comeback to make a fool of himself...every 2-3 years...

Hes a great combination puncher... but Ive seen better, even considerably better... Certainly Ray Robinson, also Aaron Pryor (who threw combinations Ive never seen ANYONE ELSE throw) ... those guys also hit harder than Marquez, that has to count for something here... X and Whiskey will jizz their pants that I even said this, but TERRY NORRIS was a dynamite combination puncher... Hearns, certainly was great too... Eder Jofre was amazing and precise... How many things have been as beautiful as Alexis Arguello digging a lead uppercut to somebody's gut and then with the most ridiculously perfect form following it up with an incredible straight right to the head followed by the left hook??? There's at least a dozen other guys I could name who were better, and thats no knock on JMM, he IS a great combo puncher... but the best ever? not by a long shot

After watching the marquez/katsidis fight, i'd love to see a pac/marquez 3rd fight.

I'm not saying that katsidis doesn't hit hard, but if he knocks down marquez, imagine what pac of now would do to him.

His powers of recovery will be hugely tested.

I like pryor compared to marquez in combination punching, despite the wilder style + hit harder + faster IMO.
