I'll probably always remember him for removing Juan Diaz's "0", and his idiot move against Robbie Peden.

The sound of that hit is brutal.
Just amazing. Whatever did he have to say for himself after that!? Anyway, he'll always have that night in Cancun, to his credit...
He was a good fighter, gritty, but was never really a mental powerhouse. In his prime he would have a been a good challenge for anyone. Best of luck Nate.
nate didn't have any money. I think he filed for bankruptcy just before or after the Diaz fight. Plus...didn't he have a fight or two cancelled due to missing weight? I'm pretty sure Guzman missed weight and skipped out.
he was a talented guy considering he took up on the sport in his mid-late 20s. a bit of an overachiever considering someone like rocky juarez who's been boxing since birth can't win a single belt let alone 3. i think he's also a good fit to be a commentator.
Well, I always thought he beat Casamayor too. It's a real shame his win over Diaz amounted to nothing. DK is a real shit promoter.
That Peden fight is bizarre. Peden is not a puncher. Even more bizarre, Campbell lost the rematch too, what happened in that fight? I don't mind Campbell though, he's always been a pretty good fighter. I enjoyed watching him beat up Diaz. It is a shame that he didn't carry any momentum after that win actually.
yea i was a bit surprised that he lost to peden in the rematch. i heard he barely made weight for that fight.
Nate was full of shit, a legit hypocrite, but I don't like it when any of these guys leave the sport with nothing. Hopefully he can figure out another way to make a living. He was also fun to watch.
