The DLH that beat Chavez vs. the Cotto that beat Malignaggi
The DLH that beat Chavez II vs. the Cotto that beat Quintana
The DLH that beat Vargas vs. the Cotto that beat Foreman (not George)

De La Hoya wins at all weights, & is certain to win inside the distance at 140lbs.

He is simply another class of fighter. He'd hurt Cotto when he wanted him hurt (especially at the lower weight), move him when he wanted him moved, out-punch him, out-box him, & out-fox him. There is little I see Cotto being able to do to give himself a realistic shot at winning.

Even the weakest of these De La Hoya's (the one who beat Vargas) matches up quite favourably with his Cotto counter-part.

Oscar knocks him out at any weight.

Oscar, big. The best fight would be at 147.

if delahoya had impressively defeated a prime cotto (pre margarito) it would be the greatest win of his career.

He would. I cant for the life of me see Miggy's chin stand up to Oscar's hook all night.

And this is one fight where Oscar's stamina wont be a factor, cause Cotto doesnt have very good stamina either.

I see DLH stopping him within 10.

    At all weights?

At the very least, I think the 140lb. De La Hoya would positively cripple the brittle-jawed Jr. Welterweight version of Cotto.
