Khan-Maidana: Much as I WANT Chino to win in brutal fashion, I have to go with my head here. Conman will win. Probably having to survive a scare or two along the way, but for the most part outboxes by the one dimensional Chino. Conman by UD, with a late stoppage being somewhat possible. My HOPE is that Maidana punishes him, before brutally knocking him out, and that Conman is out for about 5 mins.

Ortiz-Peterson: Peterson has the skills to test Ortiz, but plain and simple... I dont think he has the chin to take Vic's power. Nor does he have the defense to avoid it. Ortiz KO 6.

Will he still be called conman if he dominates because I can't see how that nickname would fit

He's shit to watch but alongside the Klits he's as good an outside fighter as exists in the sport. He lacks the versatility & brains of really great fighters but he's great in that one area.

Aye, a guy who adapted beautifully in every rematch he ever fought in, who invariably knew when to jump on a guy aggressively or to box a guy conservatively, who retired with all his money and brain cells and on top of the boxing world was dumb. Real fucking dumb ass.

Khan via UD- Going with head over heart in this one. I PRAY Maidana stretches this fraud. And he does have a legit chance of doing it. But Roach will drill into Khan to jab and run and grab Maidana whenever he gets in close. Khan may have to endure some shaky moments late but he'll hang on to survive.

Ortiz TKO 8- Peterson is too easy to hit and Ortiz does have legit power at 140

I'll take Khan by decision. I kind of want to root for Maidana because Khan is way too cocky for what little he has accomplished.

but I'm still skeptical of Maidana. I guess the jury is out on both of these guys and the winner should have more respect.

It'd be absolutely hilarious if both Peterson & Maidana won.

    Oscar might slit his wrists.

Khan by decision or late TKO

Peterson be decision, though my pick is based purely on bias - always been a fan of the Peterson brothers and never bought into the Ortiz hype (even when he was still with Cameron Dunkin). But my gut tells me LP will be passive enough to allow Ortiz to dictate the terms of the fight.

On Showtime, I like Mares and Perez, both fairly big, to set up the BFL rematch sometime next year.

Khan by late stoppage. He'll either make Maidana look God-awful or he'll walk into something big. I reckon the former is more likely.

Peterson is really, really average IMHO and Ortiz, who isn't much better, might walk through him. Gimme heartless Victor by mid round stoppage.

It's not unlikely. The question will be whether or not Peterson's chin can hold up. But Ortiz does not have the work-rate or energy that Bradley needed to beat Peterson.

And Khan? I'm just betting he will get punched at least two or three times a round. It's not like Maidana is slow. And he's not Rocky Juarez. And he will get up if he's knocked down.

I'll take Khan by decision. I'll be rooting hardcore for Maidana, but I think he is just too limited, and Khan's handspeed and range should be enough to control him.

I'll take Ortiz too, I'm not sure how. Decision I guess. He's a coward, but a better fighter, and I don't think Peterson has what it takes to revive Ortiz's quitting instinct.
