I'd need more time to think about it but right now i'd go with Arum as he's fresh on my mind because of recent events.
Not really in the killing mood, so how about we go war-time strategy and shoot to maim? Fighter - Ricardo Mayorga Promoter - Can't really think of one at the moment Trainer - Teddy Atlas Commentator - Gus Johnson (since I already used my trainer bullet on Atlas) Judge - pick a Vegas judge, any Vegas judge (Adalaide Byrd, for the sake of naming one) Referee - Joe Cortez (although maybe Keith Kizer just needs to step down as commissioner, and the next guy can force Cortez to retire)
DLH for 1 & 2. It beautifully ties in. Trainer: Roach Commentator: Kellerman Judge: Eugena Williams Ref: Cortez
was thinking of Oscar for promoter, but he's just a figurehead. Schaefer is the get-shit-done guy for G and contrary to popular opinion is actually very good for the sport.
I'd shoot Joony first. The I'd shoot the promoter starting with Arum. I'd make sure I don't hit any vital organs so I can watch him die a slow death. I'd name Jake the Boxing Tzar of the USA with matches decided by the FightBeat forum members. Then I would take over HBO, Showtime, and ESPN and make all of their fights available for download at a reasonable rate and license all of their fights to run on free TV daily. On Saturdays we would pick one fighter and show all of their fights based on internet voting or phone calls.
Trainer I would kill Aaron Snowell Commentator I would Kill Larry Merchant. Judge: I would kill Laurence Cole
My assumption here is that we're all level-headed enough to talk about shooting others without anyone getting upset that we would actually do so.
even if that was the case, you still wouldnt watch. face it, you haven't seen live boxing since roy vs. tito. wait, that was on ppv, so you probably didn't order that either. hahahaha
Jake, how is Schaefer good for the sport? I'm not necessarily arguing that he isn't, but am interested in why you think it's the case.
from a business perspective. the amount of sponsorship he's able to bring in. his ability to think outside the box in terms of generating interest in their events. what they definitely need, though, are better matchmakers.
