Anyone seen any of these? 10 Excellent Halloween Movies You Probably Haven’t Seen 10 Excellent Halloween Movies You Probably Haven’t Seen
From that list, I've only seen Stir of Echoes - which is a quality movie with a good performance from Kevin Bacon. The writer is 100% correct - Stir of Echoes is a helluva lot better than that overrated pile of shit Sixth Sense. I've heard good things about Hell House, LLC. Might watch it this weekend.
Session 9 is a really good horror flick, if you've never seen it Doub. Very Shining-esque as a psychological thriller (although not as good).
Stir o' Echoes is a fine film - cannae believe it's 20 years auld! Ah quite enjoyed 'The Sixth Sense'. Ah alsae want tae see 'Hell House LLC', so thanks tae Doubs fer posting the thread up. From the others, Ah saw Wraith and After Dark in the eighties, as a young teenager, and remember liking them both. Ah dinnae think Wraith will have aged well, just tae warn yeez!
Thanks. Will check it out . Also going to check out some on that list - don't recall seeing any of those.
I just watched Hell House, LLC. It was mehhhhh. Nothing special at all. Not worth the underground hype it's gotten. I would recommend you watch Creep instead. That's the best found-footage horror movie I've seen.
I remember enjoying Stir of Echoes... Kevin Bacon was good in it... you might even say his performance sizzled amirite???
I saw Near Dark a few times....years....20+ years ago. It was good... I saw Alone in the Dark...the 2000s version(? I guess I don't know maybe they just have the same name) it was TERRIBLE..... check...NOT a remake..the 1982 sounds like fun...
Damn! Ah wiz hoping Hell House II wid be good. Will have to check oot 'Creep'. One o' the very best ghost stories Ah've seen is the Netflix series 'The Haunting o' Hill Hoouse.' Really well made and an excellent story.
I saw the Wraith when I was a kid back in the 80’s. It was less a horror film and more an action revenge film based around what was considered at the time a really cool car. Overall it’s a terrible film and one only a kid could enjoy.
Ah havenae seen it in aboot a thoosand years but it wiz of it's time... the sort o’ Streethawk/ Knightrider/ Airwolf shite

The scariest movie is E.T. The Extraterrestrial. Why? because almost everybody remembers that E.T. famous line was 'E.T. phone home', but now turns out that what he really said was "E.T. home phone'... truly scary...
