Is the Tyson that KO'd Golota good enough to KO Cooney

Yes, I would take even the 2000 Tyson over the best Cooney. Mike still had a bit something in the tank in 2000, and was still coming in at his prime fight weight of 220ish.

Since both are extremely fast starters, it would come down to an early shootout, and even the 2000 Tyson had faster hands, a better chin, and better defense than any version of Cooney.

    Mike inside of 6.

Cooney would beat the post-Golota Tyson, since after that is when Mike got fat and sluggish.

Golota's record was saved by weed.

Golota receives the most admiration for never having beat anyone. Maybe a close second to jose luis lopez

I mean, JLL does have a stoppage win over Campas at a time when beating Campas meant something.
