Everyone is saying how Haye would destroy a 1996 Golota so how does Haye fare against 1996 Bowe (July version from Golota 1 ) Before you say how Haye would destroy Bowe in one round I suggest you go and rewatch Bowe and Golota 1 because think what you want but Bowe was not shot in that fight.
Lets say Bowe, after defeating Holyfield in the 3rd fight, signs a deal to fight 8 months later to meet Haye. Having seen the Holyfield/Bowe 3 fight and Bowe/Golota 1 fight, I believe Haye beats Bowe. I don't think it would be a quick KO, but believe speed and power would inevitably result in a KO or stoppage for Haye against a lackluster and overweight Bowe.
Bowe by KO. Even the diminished 96 Bowe is gonna land on that pathetic excuse of a chin Haye has eventually. Haye would run for dear life, but get tracked down eventually. BTW - if Haye ran his mouth at the press confrence, Riddick would knock him out right there.
It would be interesting to see how Haye would respond to a big shot from a very big guy like Bowe. He would have probably knocked him out. Haye would be foolish to trade with Bowe because he would get KTFO imo. If he fights cleverly, he would win pretty comfortably, with a couple scares thrown in.
:: Maybe i'm tending more with my heart than head on this one. Haye having not been tested yet at Heavyweight, so we have not seen whether he has, 1) the chin, 2) heart and 3) true champion's character, I may be diving in the deep end, but i'll stick with my theory ::
