How much they earned in the entire year I assume.

 

Lesnar made more than 875,000 in that year cmon...

 

Anyone else find it odd that Anderson is so low? He had two fights in 2010 and the second one (Sonnen) he got FOTN and SOTN bonus.

I guess I'll have to assume these are straight purses without bonuses.


And Maynard, 2 fights in 2010. One of the top LW's in the organization and he pulled down $85K. WTF?

 

How the fuck did those scrubs Dollaway and D Johnson earn more than most of the guys below them on that list?

 

Obviously bonuses n ppv cuts should be added into salary. Sponsorships, no.

Disagree. The list isn't that accurate and clearly leaves some stuff off the top stars. However there's no way Condit made 240k+ in 2 fights without bonuses. Zero chance of that.

 

On straight salary there's zero chances. Condit don't make anywhere near 100k a fight

 

Actually I just bothered to look it up, it includes FOTN and KO of the night. Like I said there was ZERO chance he made 249k on straight salary.

 

The numbers were funny, Condit was way to high without a lot of bonus money which there was.

 

Like I said it's not hard to look up. His salary includes FOTN and KO bonuses. I looked up UFC 2010 salaries and found where these numbers came from. It's not speculation it's a fact that the bonus's are included.

On that note I am heading to bed. Like I said the big name salaries are obviously off but a lot of the mid card guys are probably pretty close. GSP,Brock and Silva make a good bit more than reported among others.

 

As expected, they include bonuses etc, but not sponsorship, which is something completely seperate.

 

Yeah maybe you should look it up yourself, before you're going all smartass on someone, you had an argument with before. Looks kinda stupid...

 

It would be cool to know what fighters were paid in total by the UFC including any PPV revenue sharing.

Because I just can't see how a guy like Maynard keeps fighting for $85K... I'm sure his sponsorships are minimal and I doubt he shares in any PPV percentage. Just doesn't make sense.

 

I don't like Maynard at all, but he is a good fighter, this can't be denied.

In fact he was the first person that stood out as WTF, why is he below a total scrub like DeMarquez Johnson?? I mean wtf. Guys like Maynard should be earning far more than guys like Johnson.

 

Is it just me or does Michael Bispings pay stand out glaringly on this list? He must have some pictures of DW and a boy scout. There's no way he's worth more than any other fighter except one.

 

I never understood why fans even care how much fighters make. Personally, it makes no difference to me and I don't give a shit if they fight for free or make a million dollars.

 

Bisping is way overpaid. But the UFC really wants to expand throughout Europe, and he is kind of the face of that movement.

 

It matters a lot to fans who shell out a couple thousand a year on PPv's and live tickets. You want to make sure your money is being spent on the guys you want to or pay to see.

If you buy a Mercedes you would like to know that the engineers are making more money than the guy who rotates the tires.
