Definitely. I would take any 80s version of Holmes over AJ. Even if he's faded, Holmes is too smart for a retard like AJ. And despite the hype, we now know that AJ is NOT a huge puncher - certainly not a Tyson level puncher. But that wasnt the question here. AJ probably wins a decision over the 95 Holmes.
