I like Bowe in this matchup. Bowe will give him trouble with his jab and once Frazier gets inside, he'll be met with an assortment of uppercuts. Bowe was very well-schooled on the inside, and had about a 30 pound edge on Joe. Bowe had a poor defense, more so on the outside than the inside, so I think he'll take some punishment in the fight but stop Frazier in the mid rounds.
I'd take Frazier by late KO and I've always felt that way. I suggest people watch what Frazier did to Buster Mathis before saying that Joe couldn't handle a large guy. Not saying that Mathis was on the level of Bowe, but it refutes the arguement that Frazier couldn't handle and hurt a big heavyweight. It's not likely that Bowe stops Frazier mid rounds. That's just overrating Bowe's power. Bowe's power was NOTHING like Foreman's. NOTHING. What's factual is - Bowe never met a left hook that he could avoid, and Joe had arguably the best hook in the history of the sport. And you'd fooling yourself if you think Bowe could handle Frazier's hooks all night long. He had a solid chin, but it was nowhere near Ali-like granite. Bowe would win the battles (rounds), but ultimately, fighting at Frazier's pace... he'd lose the war. Joe's pressure and power take their toll on Bowe. Frazier TKO 12.
I'll take Frazier via late rounds KO. Again, his defense is severely underrated. He would slip a lot of Bowe's punches. It would be a war, don't get me wrong. But Bowe's very open for short counter hooks inside, and his body presents a very inviting target for Joe.
My Godfathers....Frazier is overrated. 5'10", 205lbs, got dropped twice by Bonavena and only has a left hook...yet he beats a prime Riddick Bowe who stood at 6'5", weighed 235-240lbs, possessed fight ending power in both hands, had ATG jab and uppercuts and could fight at a hard pace for 12 rounds? You fellas are NUTS.
Bowe went life and death twice with a guy about the same height and weight as Frazier, but with less power. You are overrating the shit out of Riddick Bowe. MTF

Sly always overrates Bowe's power. A Foreman, or Tyson level puncher could get Joe outta there early-to-hit... but Bowe didn't hit like those guys. And it's pretty damn naive to pretend like Frazier couldn't seriously hurt Bowe. Bowe was wobbled against Herbie Hide.... and Evander had him THIS close to knocked out in the third fight, and seriously hurt him in the rematch.... with left hooks. Frazier had the firepower to stop Bowe.
If you can't use Foreman fight, then you sure as hell can't use the Mathis fight. Buster Mathis had zero punch which is why Joe got to tee him off for free. Apart from him, Frazier chopped down clearly smaller guys and it usually took to the late rounds. It is not a given that he will wear down much stronger Bowe

Bowe fucks Frazier up. And as for the Ali stuff...Ali was in just his third fight after a 3 year layoff...and Ali was nowhere near the same fighter as he was pre retirement. Not even close.
