Impossible to tell for sure how good Ike actually was, meaning how good his chin was (it must have been at least solid) or if he could hurt Tyson etc. But in all likelihood, considering Ike was pretty hittable, Tyson defeats him
I don't think Ike was a partiularly big puncher and he was definitely hittable... If David Tua could land on him, a real offensive force like Tyson lands at will
True, I just thought that Ike took Tua's punches really well. If (and that a is one fucking big if)he could take Tyson's punches as well, he might have a chance as Ike had the strength to push Tyson back, which turned out to be the best way to defeat Mike. There hasn't been too many fighters in the history with such chin though, that's why this is a long shot
Tyson fucks him up. The way Ike leaned in against Tua, and caught all those uppercuts..... its thats Tyson landing those uppercuts on him, he aint lasting too long. Tyson KO 6.
Tyson in one of those one-sided, but exciting fights. Ike would be brave, and land some shots along the way, but he would be overwhelmed by Tyson's speed and power. Going to toe-toe with Tua is a lot different than doing the same against Tyson.
Jesus Christ, I just turned signatures on for the first time in a while. Did TLC REALLY say that, Joe!?
He sure did. But this might only be the second worst comment ever about Foreman. The legendary Kid Dynamite once said that Foreman was "nothing more than a smaller, less powerful and less durable version of Bonecrusher Smith." That one was in my sig for years. ::
Ike was too hittable to last the distance with Mike. And Ike's chin wasnt Oliver McCall like. Tua WAS able to hurt him. People forget that.
Could you imagine if TLC and Kid D were on opposite sides of a discussion??? And maybe throw mikE into it as well??
