    WAR ABRAHAM!

Its funny... 2 years ago I hated AA, cause I thought he'd be protected all his career. Now I wanna root for him. He seems like a nice, and humble guy, and has a style which centers around throwing every punch with the intention of a KO.

Dirrel was 4 oz over the scale. He should lose that easily within 2 hrs but still, its a bad sign. Looks like Froch was right, he is drained. All bets are off now.

Yeah but it also suggests he'll be a lot bigger than Froch on fight night. You never know how the weight factor will play out.

True. Maybe I jumped the gun. 4 oz isnt that bad, and when your Dirrell's age it can be irrelevant. Froch-Dirrell is one helluva interesting matchup.

We all know Froch has the power to seriously hurt Dirrell, but IMO, Dirrell can seriously hurt Froch as well. Froch has a solid chin, but he aint Jake Lamotta.

Are you trying to point out that Abraham has the hotter body?

He doesn't always fight like that's his intention, though.

I don't know, if Dirrell doesn't hurt him early he could simply fall back on his athleticism...and given how wide the gap between the two is in that regard, this fight could become nearly unwatchable fast.

The makings for an ugly one are there.

Hopefully it doesn't play out that way, and the pedaling is more fowards than backwards.

Taylor looks tired already, looks like the camel is going to prevail, and maybe earlier than the consensus 11th -12th round pick.

If this fight is anything like Dirrell vs. Stevens, then Dirrell should be ousted and replaced with Allan Green.

Dirrell can hurt Froch? I would be shocked if that were so.

Jermaine needs to pop those screws, and get that jaw nice and crunchy again.

Exactly. When will people realize that Allan Green is a bum? Bute is considerably better than Green, but he has Andrade to worry about. I hear that if Bute wins the Andrade rematch, and IF Pavlik beats Williams(big if) Pavlik and Bute will fight.

BTW - going by the Abraham-Taylor pics... Abraham looks very solid, and healthy at the weight, while JT looks stressed and a bit overrtrained. Thats always been Taylor's biggest problem. The jittery fuck has never been able to calm himself in the ring. Abraham's style is very basic, but at least he always remains calm during a fight, which could be the differance.

I believe Dirrell has enough rub to make Froch's ice-blue eyes pop out more than they already are, but Im worried about Dirrell's own yak,..it could be weak,.. I actually suspect it is weak,.. I dont like the way Hanshaw boogled in like a gorrilla and sat Dirrell down for a reflection early in thier meet,.. as I said before,.. he's got to circle,.. not run,.. just in rings, anti-clockwise.

    Its boxing, things happen.

Id be more worried about Dirrell taking what Froch deals out than the reverse.

How does he look over trained? I think you are reaching here. I think he looks the same as he always does.

If sorry ass non athletic Jermaine Taylor was able to put Froch down and use his speed and what little athletic ability do what he was able to do against Froch I am willing to bet that Dirrell will be able to do that and then some. This will be an easy fight for Dirrell. I'll Holla 5000

So what if he remains calm? He still gasses out.

Remaining calm is usually significant because it means the fighter doesn't burn off energy like Taylor does, and thus, doesn't gas.

But Arabham DOES gas, his stamina is not good, so his remaining calm in the ring doesn't mean much. All it means is he might not get that careless.

But despite the calmness, he is often pretty slopp in the ring, especially when he starts to get tired.
