Well, that´s an okay opponent, like most Abraham opponents, but in 2008 he should have a big one, whether it is against Sturm, Taylor or Pavlik.
Elkok is an extremely dangerous opponent. Everyone who's seen him in action knows that. Abraham is looking to solidify his place as THE champ at 160, with back to back victories over Gevor, Elkok and those other guys. It's good to finally see a European fighter who's not afraid to take on one tough opponent after another.
I only knew he beat Eastman in his last fight, the rest of his record doesn´t look as impressive. Have you seen him fight? I mean which fight would one watch? Dann? Tsarenko? :dunno:
Abraham is looking to solidify his position as Joe's successor. He will be happy with his one belt, feasting on local "OK" fighters, and ten years from now we will all be laughing at his resume.
Orthodox should be popping in here any minute now to start screaming at us about how Abraham put on a much more impressive performance against Miranda then Pavlik did.
Damn asikainen let me down in the sylvester rematch, he totally blew his load too early...I thought he could've amounted to something, now...
Well, Abraham did beat Miranda decisively. Doesn't he deserve a few (5 or 6) gimme fights? It's not like Pavlik went directly for Taylor, after struggling with Miranda...
