I don't like this fight for Adamek. I mean sure it's winnable but it's a big risk with little reward. Plus it doesn't really prepare Adamek for Klitschkos one bit. Peter is a pretty heavy handed plodder and Adamek gets hit with some wild power shots so it just might be lights out.

    1. Peter should take a warmup fight that he can't lose. Where David Haye at?

    2. Peter needs to be 235 tops for ANY fight with Adamek. If he weighs in over that....forget it.

Actually from what I hear the full plan is a 4 men tournament. Peter vs Adamek and Chambers vs Rossy (Don't ask me I don't know who that is either)

What happened to Adamek? Going from a guaranteed (or so I thought) title shot to fighting in tournaments ?

He's a bit like David Haye- he's looking for an easily maintained credibility with some handy paychecks and local-hero status amongst kindred folk in New Jersey and Illinois. No mystery there.

I don't think he was ever guarateed a title shot. He's fighting Peter for the #2 ranking. Somehow Chambers and Rossy are fighting for the #1 ranking and then the winners will fight for a shot at Wlad.

From what I've read the IBF has only sent out letters to the two camps.

I'd be a little surprised to see Adamek actually take part in this, given that he's already on the short list of heavyweight challengers for the Klitschko's, with Haye and possibly Povetkin.

You'd think they'd choose to continue what they're doing, taking on soft competition while they wait for a Klitschko opportunity, seeing as Peter, Chambers and Rossy don't seem to represent any great money potential to Adamek.

Chambers-Rossy won't even be televised.

Goossen has a Shobox date coming up in February, but Rico Ramos-TBA and Cornelius White-Donovan George are slated to be on it.

    Was he a Chef?

No....I am thinking of somebody else and it's not Rossy.
