i got a bad feeling about this one for the scot ricky burns, who i really admire as a fighter and has good heart. But Adrien Broner looks lethal, very fast, hit very hard, and very skillful and that combinations of skills looks like it will beat Burns within the first 6 rounds. If you disagree let me know, cause i want ricky to win and hope he has something up his sleeve to stop the american.

The Bout is In Broner's Hometown & his Braintrust has Been a Tad More SELECTIVE Since the Scare vs. Ponce...Admittedly, REED Never even HEARD of Ricky Burns Until This Thread, but he Thinks Broner will Do a # on him...Probably even EARLIER than the 6th...

Burn is one of those likeable fighter who had a great win against Roman Martinez, but might have been pushing above his weight with a great win, i saw broner yesterday on a clip on ring side he looks so deadly. Did Ponce put him on the floor?

Nah, but Ponce OUTWORKED Broner & Probably Deserved a DRAW @ the Very Least...Broner Did more POSING than Anything Else...Ponce CertainlY DIDN'T Put Any Hurt on Broner or Anything, but he WAS the Busier Fighter...

Thats one thing burns does do in all his fights is work very hard, and never gives up, only question mark i have with him is over his chin, hes been put down before and it appears broner hits very hard for a feather weight.

Broner should win, Burns needed to come through some very patchy moments to beat Martinez first time out, he more than likely is going to the States for the payday.

broner will need some impressive performances over solid fighters for me to forget the ponce fight and begin to give a fuck about him. and wasting that chinless, trailer trash hobo doesnt qualify.

Rumour out of England is that Burns is vacating and will fight Kevin Mitchell instead.

I watched Broner's last fight. He looks very good. Just realised he's facing Burns. Good fight, but I feel Broner's class will tell. He'll either beat Burns late or wide UD.

I just fucking said it was called off. That means its off. If you turn on your TV and see Ricky stretched like the other Ricky was, you just remember what I told you. This fight is off. Never happened.

Rumour was that Burns was vacating and wasn't traveling. :dunno:

It emanated from Nicky Cooks corner of the world.....SugarRays.co.uk

Damn it :crying: lol. Was looking forward to that fight.

Not sure how successful Burns will be at lightweight. Some proper tough fights there for him, you get me.

    I get you alright.

Damn happy with myself all the same....I sniffed that one out earlier in the week via Sugar-Rays.

Burns is looking for a big pay-day vs your man Mitchell.

A re-match between Mitchell and Katsidis could happen soon enough.

So do I. That said Katsidis has racked up an awful lot of miles since he beat Mitchell. In addition to all the other miles he already had racked up.

John Murray is the big, big loser in all of this.

Burns-Katsidis is a good scrap. Kats has taken a couple of beatings lately so might be the right time for Burns. Mitchell is more skilled than Burns but he's just too small to take on a guy like Katsidis. Burns was always a large 130 pounder so I think he'll match up much better physically.

I like burns, but prefer Kats style.

I would like to see Burns win this one actually.

Burns will win. Katsidis is bulletproof but he's not Burns-proof.
