I feel the exact opposite. The last thing MMA needs is to be taken over by the corruption and incompetence that has overun boxing. Hopefully this all falls apart before it ever gets off the ground. TFK

There is alot of corruption in MMA your just too close to MMA's nuts to see it. Boxings biggest promoter just signed with a minor league promoter in MMA. This only helps out MMA and doesn't help boxing out at all.
A hybrid fight card will have to be done right to pull it off. It's not a brand new idea, though certainly nothing's been attempted on this kind of level yet.
Talk about being close to nuts. If it wasn't helping boxing, then Golden Boy wouldn't be doing the deal, would they? De La Hoya knows that MMA is the future, if not the present, of combat sports, and he wants in. TFK
Oscar just wants Afllictions sponsorship money. Nothing more. Hell get it too because Aflliction the MMA promoter will be dead real soon. HBO brings the dollar$ and they already turned down having an MMA fight on the Pavlik-Hopkins PPV card.
