For me, if we're talking top ten, then there's some staples. Duran Napoles Qawi Armstrong Frazier Chang Tyson Just for starters. I think they all have to be on a top ten. I suppose you could also throw Pacquiao and Fenech on there. Maybe Chucho Castillo and Santos Laciar. Lomachenko, Chocolatito, Canizales, maybe.
Not sure he's cracking the top 10 (probably not in fact), but clenelo head movement while beong agressive is pretty great. And while he's overrated, loma crack the top 10 for sure imo
Not sure he belongs. He was far from the face first brawler that some foolishly say he is, amd had lot of subtle moves, but i don't think he was as good at it as the name already mentionned
McGugian had good head-movement for a pressure fighter. Not masterful like Duran, Tyson, Nap, but it was very solid.
just saying. in isolation, ingle's head movement was exceptional. definitly not among those names in terms of overall boxing ability or accomplishments. he's not among the best aggressive boxers with good head movement. but he might be included among aggressive boxers with the best head movement.
#10. Vicente Saldivar #09. Julio Cesar Chavez #08. Mike Tyson #07. Joe Frazier #06. Jung-Koo Chang #05. Wilfredo Gomez #04. Dwight Qawi #03. Henry Armstrong #02. Jose Napoles #01. Roberto Duran
I think Tyson and Frazier both had better head-movement than Chang, but it's just nit-picking. I 110% agree with your top 5.
I just love Chang's badass move of stepping back into mid-range from the inside, then slipping three or four punches then pulling back all the way out, grinning like a madman the whole time.
