AJ seems like an old soul. I've heard him bumping Anita Baker, Isley Bros, ect on his Instagram, which is something you rarely see in young cats.

He did sign to fight Miller, who was ranked high but blew the match pissing through the cup. He also offered the fight to Ortiz who backed out.

In 22 fights Joshua has fought six guys who either were top-10 ranked by The Ring at the fight time or later. He has signed to fight two more (Pulev and Miller) who canceled.

I'd like to see him face Wilder or Fury too, but the amounts of shit he gets is ludicrous

Good ole Fast Eddie wants to be the next Arum/King, but the problem is, Arum and King were self made.

Eddie is simply Barry Hearn's son.

Pretty good. AJ has a lot of cross over appeal but he needs that Wilder fight.

Gonna Be an INTERESTING Fight Early...

AJ Hasn't Fought in 8-9 Months, Whereas Ruiz Had a 10 Week Camp for Dimitrenko, 1 Week Off, Then Right Back into Camp for Joshua...Ruiz Should Be SHARP and in the Best Shape of His Roly Poly Life...

His Handspeed and "Mexican Style" Will Pose Early Problems Also, Especially Ruiz's Combination Punching...Joshua's Shown a Solid Beard and Handles SINGLE Shots Fine...REED Thinks Ruiz Will Land in Combination Though and Could Hurt and/or Drop Joshua...

AJ's Got NUTS Though...He's Gotten Up, Dusted Himself Off and WON By KO Before and REED's Expecting Him to Do So Again...Ultimately, Ruiz Has a CRUSIERWEIGHT Frame, Perhaps Even LIGHT HEAVY...Absorbing Shots from a Huge, NATURAL Heavyweight Like Joshua Isn't a Longterm Recipe for Success...

Joshua KO 7 or 8 in a Fan Friendly Bout...

ps. If You've NEVER Seen Andy Ruiz Fight please, Please, PLEASE DON'T Judge that Book by its Cover...

Ruiz doesn't blow, but he isn't a top-10 ranked contender, either although very close to it.

As REED said, Ruiz is a good combination puncher, has quick fists and pretty good basic technique. He isn't much of a puncher and his chin hasn't been proven, either. A Buster Mathis Jr with a different style.

The problem for Ruiz is that he has no advantage over Joshua apart possibly from stamina, who has a clear edge in reach, speed and power. Thus I expect Joshua to win pretty easily, but Ruiz still doesn't blow

Ruiz could well get some good shots and counters in early and put AJ under pressure and make him miss, making the crowd think that he's got a chance to win this. He'll be up for it for sure, but I just see AJ starting to find his rhythm. It may take a few rounds, it may not, but if I was to bet on this, I'd go for AJ between 7-9.

AJ has to make a statement though. He's got to win this in style. People will be on his back if he struggles at all with Ruiz. That's just how it is.

He's lost his biggest fight to date, on points, away from home so no he doesn't blow but he's not far off blowing.

There's no evidence that we should look at it that way..............AJ tends not to be a blowout guy verus moderate-good opposition........nobody has ever blown out Ruiz, much less KO'd him, and AJ is fighting away from home.

But..........If AJ is what he claims to be, I expect him to be getting the guy out of there on class and accumulation 7,8.

And I expect Ruiz to roll in there and chin-check Joshua too. I think I will.

AJ is a methodical guy. Finesse minded.

I doubt he’ll get this guy outta there at the snap of a finger. I think he’ll do it within 8 rounds.
