    Holmes is a tough challenge for any version of Ali, but while I would still pick the '64-'67 version of Ali over Holmes, without hestitation, what about the slightly past prime version post layoff? It's an intriguing fight.

    hmmm... I definitely see that as a close one for sure... I think Ali would have as much trouble, for different reasons obviously, with Holmes as he always had with Norton

    If they fought 5 times, you are probably looking at 5 split decisions

    A close, but fairly clear, decision for Holmes. Ali had slipped too far.

    Holmes, Ali wasn't the same by that point. Give me a prime Ali over a prime Holmes any day, though.
