The guy who was the "Alien" in the 1980 original installment {the best of them by far} was "Played" by a Nigerian guy who met the director by chance in a London pub. His name was Bolaji Badejo and he died quite young, aged 39 or so, from Sickle Cell disease. He was 6'10" The guy who played the Predator was Kevin Peter Hall- he was 7'2" and he died even younger from AIDS-related Pneumonia after contracting the virus from infected transplants he got following a car accident. His wife, Alaina Hall, was a major character on Sesame Street, she died in 2009 of breast cancer. Chewbacca was played by Peter Mayhew, 7'3" and he died 2 years ago, aged 74. Sloth was played by former NFL player John Matuzak who was 6'8", 280lbs or so and died from drug related issues, possible underlying health issues caused by steroids/drugs.
