Am I the only Paulie fan of this board? When he first came out I hated him cause I swore he was a fraud. I thought for sure that Cotto would blow him away within 3 rounds. But when Paulie went the distance, and took a beating like a man whilst giving Cotto all the credit he earned ALOT of respect from me. And then his schoolings of Cherry, and Ndou made me a fan. Sure he's not very exciting cause he cant punch a LICK. But at least he's not a runner. He stands his ground and boxes effectively, yet at the same time he's not a softie either. In other words he doesnt fall apart when he gets tagged. He's gonna school slow ass Ndgoudjo on Sat night, then he's coming for Witter, and the Holdman.

    WAR PAULIE!

    Who else is on board?

Is Ndgoudjo slow? at first i though he was the guy that landed a body shot on Hatton in round 5 that made Ricky run and hold for the rest of the fight....but then i realize it was the guy that beat JLCastillo, then just barely got past Randall Bailey on espn/or versus...

    maybe i don't remember him well..but he was kinda fast..with a long reach...:dunno:

 What's the celebration for?... what's wrong with Corey Spinks :dunno: ?..
Malignaggi, is the quintessential paper-belt holder, he should fly away on his magic carpet, back to Saudi Arabia where he belongs.

I like Paulie too but he doesn't have enough power to beat Hatton at 140 IMO and I'm not even sure that he'd beat Witter (though if it shut Attraction up, I'd be happy to be proven wrong)

What the hell is with all these racist remarks on this board all of a sudden? I'm not even Italian, but if I was I'd be highly offended by this post. Its like somebody opening a thread about Floyd and somebody saying "I cant stand that n!gger". Or someone mentioning Cotto and someone says "I cant stand that spinc." I mean if you hate Paulie its fine, but I keep hearing ppl call him a guido on here and thats downright racist.

So did I. Lets face it, Paulie was fucking buff that night. His abs were, like, totally out of sight.

It's not really a racist term.

    Guido:

sad pathetic excuse for a male; not necessarily of Italian descent, but most likely; usually native to the New York/New Jersey Tri-State area.

WARDROBE: tight zipper shirts, tracksuits, designer jeans, fuzzy kangol hats, tiny hoop earrings, fake gold chains, and related Euro-trash garb and tacky cheese-wear.

NATURAL HABITAT: Known to frequent Tri-State area malls looking for club gear to waste their week's pay on (most likely spotted shopping at "Bang Bang" in Staten Island). During the day when not at their food delivery, telemarketting, or construction job, can be located at their local gym tanning or lifting weights. Can be found nightly at mainstream danceclubs they read about online (SF, Webster Hall, Etc.). Most notable for cruising the Jersey shore in an old car (Honda, Mustang, etc.) which has been tinted, painted and sports $1,000-$3,000 rims in a feeble attempt to look like new. Guido cars usually have a boomin' system through which cheesy music like freestyle, commercial club/trance and hip-hop (anything KTU plays) is loudly blasted.

I've been on the Paulie bandwagon since about five years ago.

I think Jake and I were the only ones who actually thought he could make it.

    NO IT FUCKING AIN't.

Guido only refers to persons of a particular manner and inclination, its like calling a white guy a faggot and then insinating that to call somone a faggot is racist against whites. The expression "Guido" only realistically refers to a tiny portion of Italian-Americans, and, even then, as Arben has alluded to, some of them aren't even Italians, 2 maybe even 3 of the guys in the above foto are Albanians.
