Australia raised concerns over the official scales after one of their fighters was deemed overweight. Several boxers were left shedding weight to reach desired categories. Australian spokesman John Gatfield said: "They went to the sauna trying to lose weight and when they came back weighed more than the last reading." The scales will be recalibrated for the weigh-in to take place on the morning of the opening bouts. Gatfield added: "There was a lot of chaos there and they have decided to have a second weigh-in Tuesday morning. It was really ridiculous." The scales are perfect."

Hardly surprising. He said he couldn't get into the GB team but the truth is there were allegations of him bunking off training that date way back. At least he isn't doing his fighting for Pakistan on a train or a bus.:laugh11:
Did anyone see the Indian Super-Heavy candidate today? He fought a guy called "Junior Fa" who is from Tonga, a Pacific Island. Disgusting scoring. Fa would basically rip off 6 or 7 shots to the body and head and get nothing for them. Then the Indian would slap out a left and score. The Indian gone get raped when he faces the slow but big Trinidadian.
