Behold the woke, inclusive and diverse new LOTR The Rings of Power series images from Amazon Prime whom has poured a LOT of money on this production...people are already hating it to say the least. Since legally they cannot alter Tolkien's characters, they just created new ones to be the token PC ones. So expect the new characters to take the spotlight.

I’m sorry for you that the entire world of every series can’t be exclusively white. I got no problem with them adding a little color to these roles since it is more reflective of the real world.

The problem with racists and conservatives is they want things to continue to reflect the fictional all white world they’re used to. It’s also obviously what they wish the real world was like.

If inclusivity and so called wokeness have to be forced I imagine it’s better than the alternative of just continually white washing everything while simultaneously excluding all other races, sexes, gays, and letter groups. You may not care about the inclusivity of your ethnicity but trust that most of the people in the aforementioned groups care about theirs.

 

Tolkien's Middle Earth NEVER reflected the real world. There is no need to. It is a damn fantasy rooted in European folklore. And the Tolkien Estate clearly delineates that.

I have no problem with all the diversity, fags fucking, and blue hair tattooed lunatics in films and tv as long as they create THEIR OWN ORIGINAL productions. Simply don't temper with beloved franchises to push your fucking woke agenda. They ruined Star Wars, Star Trek, Doctor Who, the MCU and everything else under the sun they can grab with their insecure fragile sissy hands. What's next? A remake of The Godfather were the head of the Corleone family is a black Lesbian? will you accept Asian actors passing as Italian mobsters? I am sure that people of different ethnicities/races prefer to watch something original that they can also identify and feel proud (like Black Panther) and not rip-off established franchises/stories were the actors of color/sex preference/gender are included merely for the sake of inclusion. It feels forced because it is forced and therefore becomes a detriment to the overall film/series.

I’ll give you the Tolkien franchise even though it’s written by a white man who wrote his story based in a world that is a white washed fantasy.

But tell me how the fuck is having people of color, gay and letters considered wokeness in universes like Star Wars, Star Trek and Doctor Who ,ect when pretty much every character is usually just someone they made up from another universe? That’s fucking racist as hell to assume every character from every universe is supposed to be white, male, unaltered and straight.

Maybe all you conservatives who constantly complain about this stuff need to wake up and realize the world ain’t the way you want it, anymore than it’s the world we want. All we’re doing is asking for representation and all y’all want is for us not to have it and y’all do that by cloaking it behind some bullshit forced wokeness excuse. What you’re actually doing is fighting against equality.

 

So if comic writer/creator create new ethnic super heroes...then THEY ARE WOKE and pushing a narrative......if they turn Superman into a BLACK man they are also WOKE...Superman isnot even a human being...

You crave for representation? Now is fucking everywhere! want more representation? tell your blue haired lesbian socialists to write an ORIGINAL tale and not to to rape an already established tale! The problem is that the rare times they do that, the end product is so bad because all they did was shove down our throats their stupid agenda. That is why Crunchyroll's extremely hyped first original anime crashed and burned immediately because 10 out of the 12 episodes had no plot, but was just an exercise of checking every box in the woke agenda. Maybe they should have gotten the rights to Masters of the Universe...oh, wait!..

 

You can create something new and have those 'beloved elements' and as long as it is a COMPELLING story with interesting characters AND (most important) the AGENDA IS NOT THE MAIN PURPOSE of the product, fans will support it.

The problem with this new Amazon Prime billion dollar production is that they have inserted an OBVIOUS agenda to a world that is already created in detail in the Tolkien books. The producers have admitted that they comprised 500 years of the Silmarillion, changed characters descriptions and names, added new ones, put new situations and in short slaughtered Tolkien's work just so they can have their 'vision' (read AGENDA). The result has infuriated almost every LOTR and Tolkien fans worldwide. I am not watching this, but you can go ahead and enjoy it.

 

Yeah you go join the Nazis and KKK boycotts who can’t stand a little color in their shows. As long as the story is good I’ll watch. Also could you post a link to the guy saying wokeness was the purpose of him doing this show as opposed to making a quality product.
