Anderson Silva vs Thales Leites:UFC 97

Who the is Thales Leites?

 

Thales LEites is a better fighter than Patrick Cote.

He has great jiu jitsu and has solid wins in the UFC, including a controversial decision win over Nathan Marqueardt. I'm not sure that he deserves a title shot, but he's a very good fighter indeed.

 

where is ufc 97?.....Silva was rumoured to perform at the next London show....is it there?

You might be right.Silva's not very good at defending subs and lucky for him he has'nt fought any REAL submission guys in his UFC stint until now.

Here's a gif of when he fought Ryo Chonnan in PRIDE FC,this is probly the sickest sub attempt I"ve ever seen and Chonnan was able to finish it off was icing on the cake.

Amazing how quickly Silva tapped here. He tapped before Chonan even fully locked it in.

 

Yep. He could have tried to kick the guy with his left leg on the way down and punch him in the face when they were down because the guy did a sit up right into punching range. Instead he fell back and tapped.
