In fact, his career best moment came AFTER he was dropped by Rivera I like the matchup, but Berto hasn't gone anywhere near a puncher. I still don't think highly of him.
You like the match-up? Welterweight's only three pounds down from where DLH fought Forbes, which is still north of where Forbes has done much of anything. It's quite amazing how much Forbes has gotten out of losing The Contender finale.
Forbes will give Berto plenty of trouble. Both guys have the speed, Berto having the edge in power. Forbes in experience. Should be good :bears:
Forbes has been a perpetual loser his whole career but supposedly he was pretty impressive beating Bojado and Hopkins. Based off that alone I think he should be able to beat Berto who's lack of any kind of defense will be his undoing.
Jesus Christ what do people see in Forbes? This guy is a borderline journeyman! He was DLH's sparring partner for 12 rounds. Berto isnt exactly the second coming of Ray Leonard, but against Forbes he'll look like Ray Leonard.
Forbes won't have the same disadvantages he had with DLH. He will be touching Berto on his chin, which is more than what Miki did. His experience and speed should keep him in this fight.
