Dunno about 'for sure', Ganigan did nearly KO Arguello. Tank wouldn't ever come close to that. Andy could win, but Tank's seems sturdier and that's likely the difference.
Tanks punch straighter, has better defense, stamina and is sturdier. Sure Gannigan punched like a mule and has the proverbial puncher chance, but it's a slim one since tank seems to have a very good chin. I agree that tank probably doesn't put Arguello on his ass, and probably doesnt beat Ogrady as easily, but i think Gannigan style is pretty much taylor made for him
Ganigan wasn't a particularly good fighter outside of having big power. Davis would have KOd Ganigan. A better matchup is Valero vs Ganigan, as Ganigan has a better chance of stopping that fraud.
I think tank does destroy him. I don't think ogrady was a very good fighter. But i think it would go more than two rounds
O'Grady was a very solid fighter. Well-schooled, good pop, very good body puncher, but its more a styles thing. I cant see O'Grady's chin holding up under Davis' power and handspeed.
Tank would probably KO Ganigan in a slugfest They sparred, Stinger called Ganigan a CHICKEN MAMA and proceeded to get khtfko for several minutes
