Hagler was the very definition of a MIDDLEWEIGHT. Too big to be a junior middleweight, yet too small to even be effective at 168, let alone 175. Tarver was basically a mediocre fighter with a powerful left hand who just happened to catch a faded great fighter at the right time with the right punch. He beats Hagler by boring UD I think. Based PURELY off size. Hagler was only 5'8 or 5'9 for Christ sake! His saving grace was that he had extremely long arms for a middleweight. After last night, let's do a Hagler vs Canelo thread instead.....
