Anybody else think Froch gonna knock out Ward?


I really hope froch knocks Ward out his boxing story would be like rocky then going from people laughing at his weird style to best supermiddle weight in the world!

 

Many believe ward will win via UD in a one-sided shite fight. I think froch will win by making it tough and scrappy for ward.

Froch is slow, He throws from way outside leaving himself open to counters.
He fights with his hands down and isnt even a good counter puncher. His straight right hand (his best punch) will be COMPLETELY nullified by Ward and Virgil.

Ward is a better fighter from the outside and the inside. Froch will look pretty ordinary in this fight and might get stopped as his frustration mounts and he takes more chances.

Ward hasn't lost a fight since he was 12 years old he's not gonna start with Froch sorry.

Ward is a bitch whose never even left oakland in this whole tournment. Froch finds away to win, only way he loses is if judges rob him.

 

He could. He can be pretty clever at setting up sickening shots. Thing is, Ward has managed in the past to unleash an unusual mix of aggression and defensiveness. He accomplishes this with a smothering attack facilitated most of all by grabbing and holding, not unlike Hopkins. If Froch can figure out a productive way to cope with this, he'll have a chance. He may consider lobbying the referee ahead of time to keep an eye out for Ward's grabbing.

Ward to his credit commits his grappling in a very seamless way, making it seem much less flagrant than it is.

Ward is definitely good at crowding, holding you with one hand and hitting with the other. He's crafty in there. That's why i think Froch will get monumentally frustrated as he did with Direll when he slammed him to the canvas. His frustration will be his undoing because unlike Direll Ward is a cold hearted ice in his veins type of dude in the ring and he'll make him pay for every mistake. It going to actually be a fun fight with high drama in terms of emotions until Ward seriously staggers or stops Froch.

 

It wouldn't shock me if Froch won, but a knockout would be a big surprise.

I wouldn't be surprised if froch once again proves most people wrong. I also would not be surprised if ward won this by proving too slick from the outside and too cute on the inside.

Froch needs to come out quick and make it his type of fight. His workrate needs to be ten times that of what he's done to date. He can't allow ward to get into stride.

no doubt. froch is a hero, who beats the odds all the times, Ward is a boring golden boy from america, who has a horrible style and hasnt even had to leave oakland the whole tournment. why would anybody want him to win?
